Is Dua this generations Rihanna?

Featured Replies

Both have: effortless sex appeal, an eye for fashion, an ear for hits and ability to keep up with the trends. They both kind of represents what it means to be a young, successful, driven popstar.

Is Dua the Rihanna for Gen Z?

    7 years into their careers:    Dua Lipa: 9 million albums sold, 5 Top 10 hits, 3 Grammys, 0 #1’s.   Rihanna: 34 million albums sold, 28 Top 10’s, 9 Grammy’s, 13 #1s.    Look

  • No. Nobody is this generations Rihanna. She cannot be replicated

  • This is disrespectful to Rihanna.

I’d say dua is the most consistent female hitmaker since Rihanna. Global smash hits at that

7 albums vs 2 albums :clack:

In terms of all the Gen Z main pop girls in this current landscape, she’s definitely the closest thing

Dua Lipa is the Dua Lipa of this generation

This generation’s rihanna doesn’t make her on the same level as rihanna

Dua Lipa: 32 million album units, 5 Top 10 hits, 3 Grammys, 0 #1’s.

Rihanna: 10 million album units, 4 Top 10’s, 0 Grammy’s, 1 #1s.

Rihanna released 7 albums in her first 7 years.  Dua released 2.  They are not the same.

I guess you are using pure sales, but where did you get 9m pure sales for Dua? She has sold like 1.5m

She’s nearing singing competition judge status so I doubt it. Maybe more of this gen’s Katy.
