I have always stood by her and Jump was a bop with a great video, but a ******* EP and a Chris Brown collab? Girl if it didn’t work for Chloe it’s not gonna work for you, I don’t understand people willingly working with predators like him.

We don’t know that an album isn’t coming after this “EP”. In an interview released just yesterday, it stated she said an album will be here before the end of the year. I don’t think she would have said that if all she was releasing was an EP that’s out in two weeks, but who knows. We’ll see!

Damn. Republic really dropped her after Jump flopped.

Happy she's going the EP route. 

 

Simple business logic shows that if she can't chart a song these days that an album was going to be DOA.

 

EPs take the commercial pressure off and allow her to be economical by going digital only. All while getting to put out new music in relative bulk and simultaneously give her another shot at a random lightning-in-a-bottle moment like Level Up.

She honestly should have gone this route with Beauty Marks as well

Absolutely didn’t need to be an album. 
 

hopefully there’s no duds on here, Ciara used to make such good projects before between released AND unreleased tracks

this is a smart idea I can get behind because EPs are usually less measured when it comes to discography success and right now Ciara doesn’t need to release a long body of work that’s gonna flop and be horrible. If this EP brings the noise up again then she has to strike while the iron is hot. 
 

I have zero expectations coming into it. I’m gonna give her one last good shot. 

so is this all new songs? what about the other singles? Im not complaining but im glad shes starting over. the material wasnt good enough.
