Ciara - 'CiCi'

How We Roll is in the Viral Top 50 on TikTok which seems like a good sign.

BRB seems like it could probably take off on there. I’m surprised she didn’t post that dance clip that she posted on Twitter and Instagram with it in the background.

This one   Maybe she's saving it for an inevitable deluxe w the singles

  • No.    thsnm goodness she did not include them. This is the smarter route. Start fresh and just work on rebuilding.

  • Nice. Apart from Lil Baby, are there any names we for sure recognize (so as to ascertain the features)?   Random but relevant: Her dedication to Theron is...something. Does he not charge her

She needs to put the breaks on BRB. Let How We Roll grow for another 2-3 weeks otherwise it’s too much distraction.

The way Winning has had a chokehold on me. Such an uplifting track!

This ruined my morning ...

I think she needs to let songs like these go.

I definitely don’t think a song like Winning is a wise way to promote the EP. Especially on a site like Twitter where people have no issue being nasty and miserable.

Her and her team should have asked themselves what would have been the best song to push on a platform filled with people that don’t really see it for her as a musician, have not listened to the EP in full and think her last hit was Body Party. Clearly Winning should have fallen to the bottom of the list and one of the r&b focused songs should have been the one to go for.

Even having BRB follow How We Roll on the EP was a risk if we’re being honest.

Of all the songs to promote from that album, she stands behind the worst and corniest one with her WHOLE pregnant chest.

It’s just a promo video though, she’s been using all the songs in different posts on different platforms. She just needs to be smarter with what she picks for each platform because a nasty tweet that goes viral is enough to derail a campaign. Now anyone who hasn’t listened to the EP and didn’t know about How We Roll/Forever will think Winning was the single and that’s how the EP sounds.

Fair..... i just dont really think she or her teams moves "smart" or with tact

There are some nice tracks like Forever and Low Key but nothing really stands out to me :monkey: A shame because I loved Beauty Marks, that album was her best imo

She doesn't have an ear for hits.

It’s embarrassing. It was already cringe enough that she was shoving Da Girls down everybody’s mouth knowing nobody cared… :deadbanana2: and now this…

Twitter is a very nasty place. Tbh Ciara is her own boss and she runs everything but I also think she’s blinded by what’s best for her music and her. She should promote type a party or lowkey if she’s going to market her album as R&B. We get it that you’re happy and in love with a beautiful family but also promote the music that celebrates that love. Don’t get me wrong Winning is an okay songbut it’s also not the strongest song on the EP.

Ciara's visuals always help her songs gain more streams on Spotify, Forever is averaging 40,000 streams while each individual track is getting about 7-8k daily. I would not be mad at all if she had recorded more visuals pre-pregnancy and slowly started to release them in the future to help gain more streams for the EP on Spotify.
