Last two are not MJ choices so they don't count for me, and I don't know pre off the wall songs (only Ben). So i would say You Rock my world.

Black or White. Might be the only MJ song I’ve heard that is legit nauseating to this day. 

The Girl is Mine should have been left off of Thriller. 

 

Listeners were not impressed by "The Girl Is Mine", and thought that Jackson's Thriller would also be a disappointment. The public felt that Jackson and the producer, Quincy Jones, had created a song for the white pop audience. Since its release, "The Girl Is Mine" has received mixed reviews from journalists and music critics. Journalist Robert Christgau described the pairing of McCartney and Jackson as "Michael's worst idea since 'Ben'". Rolling Stone stated that the song was a "wimpoid MOR [middle of the road] ballad" and that McCartney was "tame". Billboard called it a "breezy lighthearted love song capped by some playful superstar banter at the tag." Stephen Erlewine of AllMusic noted that the song had a "sweet schmaltz". Jackson's breakdown with the "irrepressibly silly Paul McCartney" was "disarmingly goofy", according to Stylus Magazine. Salon.com later described "The Girl Is Mine" as a "sappy duet". They concluded that McCartney had become a "wimpy old fart".

The Girl is Mine, for sure. The worst song on Thriller. Imagine if Say, Say, Say was on Thriller instead. 

They're all sooo good but You Rock My World, Black and White and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough are his holy trinity of quality leads

You Rock My World is probably my least fav but I basically like them all.

Chile, those songs are twin sisters.  Both lame and forgettable. Now, imagine if Michael had kept Centipede instead of giving it to Rebbie and put it on Thriller. 

 

 

All of these except for Black or White, You Rock My World and Scream are pretty appalling

I chose none, because it physically me to choose The Girl Is Mine. The beat, the level of head bopping, and the rhythm. However I wish it was only Michael honestly.

All the main 6 are good, with The Girl Is Mine probably being the weakest but it's still good.

 

As for the other albums, I really don't like Hold My Hand 

The Girl is Mine - like Mike, you're about to release a legendary album and that's what you choose as the lead single? 

Tbh I've never listened to his pre-OTW music so I"ll just go with one of those  

They're all equally bad 

I wait, I just noticed I don't like most of his leads...  but ot of the ones I listed, my least fave is probably YRMW.

I could never get into The Girl Is Mine.

 

I thought Blood On The Dancefloor would be the winner, but I just realized that's only a remix album and I'm glad there's no slander because it's one of my favorite singles of his!

I don't count pre-OTW and the albums after he passed. Out of the options The Girl Is Mine is the only correct answer.
