I was presented fabricated stats then by a biased member 

One is a digital era hit and the other was a streaming era hit.  
 

As a result 

 

Blank Space will have far more sales, parent album sales, and YouTube streams

 

Shallow will have far more Spotify streams.  
 

I think if you sit down and math it out, Blank Space still has more units but I would ask…who cares?  They are both highly successful, great songs.

Shallow is bigger and probably more iconic, but Blank Space is better imo.

Shallow, Bad Romance and Poker Face are definitely bigger than any Taylor song. Other than that... yeah, no.  Let's not forget how genuinely massive Shake It Off, Blank Space and (to a lesser extent) Love Story are.

This was a good chuckle. Blank Space is 8x Platinum in the U.S. (8M units) and you just tried to pass it off as if that’s less than Shallow’s 2x Diamond in Poland (500k).  

Certified Units

Blank Space: 10,805,000

Shallow: 11,063,000 (+64M streams in Sweden, which is about 427k units by U.S. standards)

 

Blank Space is undercertified and still gaining more units daily thanks to Spotify and AM.

Both are big but Blank Space outsold and outstreamed.

 

And with the re-recording, Blank Space will be even more ahead of Shallow.
