Not you posting a show from 17 months ago   This year she's being playing 2k-4k venues or festivals...she played one in Monaco with a 950 person capacity. She even played an arena and only used 4k capacity.

 

What is the box score from that 17 month old show Hollywood Bowl show btw?

I absolutely love her but it’s clear she’s unhealthy and overweight and wearing a girdle to push everything in. That’s going to hurt her ability to sing.   Her bad dieting and fluctuations in weight and excessive wine and spirits  have done her no favors over the years. (Especially her voice) sadly I hate to say this but she lacks discipline. She’s a xxx’n legend period but she needs to stay on top of her health.

Everyone is built different but even people that look good thicc and healthy like Mariah shockingly can fall under the “overweight” category. Even if she isn’t overweight per her bmi,  the fluctuation in weight is defo not healthy. It’s a strain on the body and her beautiful voice.

Mariah was ON tonight! I was there and damn.. The presence, the power, the agility, the resonance whew ! Queen redeemed herself and everyone in the crowd was happy, great energy.

I reckon her chest voice would sound a lot more consistently healthy that it does but she might lose the ability to whistle. Even though it's a signature sound of hers, I thnk that would be a small price to pay for her peace of mind. I think she's scared though. I'd gladly have the rest of her voice over the whistle. Whistling is actually unhealthy for a singer to be doing anyways. She can develop that head voice more.

Same. I think she has too much pride though. If Nippy could get a vocal coach and retrain and heal her voice in the mid-late 00s, Mariah can do it. Factors like her mental and physical health affect the outcome of her singing as well. She needs to take care of mental and physical health first, then focus on voice. If a singer isn't in the right headspace and if the body is too tired or sick, you can't expect to deliver a great live performance day in and day out.

 

All singers, no matter how great they are, will have off days or periods of their career where their voice is not at its best but those days are usually seldom and periods brief. Mariah has been terribly inconsitent for the better of the new century and we are heading into 2023. I'm glad to see the clips where she has pulls off a decent performance but I can feel her level of anxiety through the screen in those bad clips. I have to look away. She deserves some peace of mind over her gift. She shouldn't have to be worried to death about whether her voice is gonna deliver or not.

You can barely hear her and it's not even that good. Mariah been struggling for decades now, that's why she lip syncs most of her performances.

Not you lying to yourself. Xtina hasn't supported and resonated a B4 in years but her voice was damaged from the start, so...

It's definitely the nodules that contribute to 80% of her vocal decline, with the rest being alcohol and booze.

 

But one thing I noticed is that her MC2U vocals were a reminiscent of her 90s days, and that's when she had to lay off the booze cos of her pregnancy.
