She sounded good at her shows last week, her voice is definitely still there under the right conditions but yeah this is bad. Her voice completely failing her here

Not the "she's sick" excuse again. :deadbanana2: Y'all say this every single time she performs live. :rip:

Her voice has been exponentially deteriorating for years now and it makes me so sad to watch. She was the greatest vocalist of all time. She had her moment and she's a legend. I think she needs to learn when to slow down and only do performances for a couple TV slots to promote new music or AIWFCIY. There's no reason for her to keep pushing her voice to a place of no return with these residencies and shows and concerts. She vocally can't handle performing so consistently and that's okay. She's been giving her all for 35 years.

Regardless, her good days are still eons beyond most other girlies past and present.

I was there and these tweets chose two of the worst moments of the night. My All was noticeably rough in person. I think she did fine otherwise throughout the night.

It’s for sure a combination of ego and pride, and the money. I am positive she’s making so much money doing these shows, TV specials, and residences, and that’s probably the driving factor.

The other part is ego and pride, which comes from her insecurity.

I'm also trying to grasp what it's like to be a fully grown adult who has developed such a hatred for a woman they've never met and devotes their time to tearing her apart on online forums? :giraffe:  The mental illness....

Most great singers experience deterioration over the years, unless they vigorously take care of their voice to maintain it but it's pretty rare that they can still sing like they could at their peak. It's the same as any great athlete, most of them aren't going to be at the same level as time goes on. But at least she is still trying and she does have her moments where she still serves vocals.
