OMG, I LOVE THE SONG :jonny:

Not sure why i didn’t click before.

Also, what the hell happened? Was that a protestor on stage?

This is sooo good. Her voice on a powerful song like this and I'm hooked immediately :jonny5:

If I had to nitpick it's a shame this had to fit Eurovision length requirements, cause the bridge feels rushed and I'd have died for another, even more anthemic and explosive last repetition of the chorus

i hope she uses this as the launchpad for a new era

Same. I mean, if she wins MelFest at the very least, I don't see why she wouldn't. I know girl is allergic to releasing music and wasted countless chances to launch albums, but wasting such a big platform would be too much even for her nn

Tbh she did release Heal after Eurovision. She has been making music a while, with Neon Lights not being released that long ago. There was a press release that said it was the first single from her new album, which would be out this year - I get the feeling plans to release anything further were pushed back for this.

Her performance was great! She definitely delivered the best song and performance of the night. Thankfully they were able to remove the stage invader quickly, it seemed like she didn't even noticed him.

The studio version is absolutely glorious, such a great pop song. Let's hope she gets send to Eurovision (and wins the whole damn thing).

Nothing in the world could get me to lay under that big screen. It looks awesome tho.

Loreen did notice the stage crasher, but she thought it was some dancer, lol

I'm so glad the single cover doesn't have the gross "Tattoo" title that was on Twitter

I’m really sorry but you are all doing a bit too much with this song. This is light years behind Euphoria and it’s unlikely that out of all the acts - many of which haven’t even been chosen yet - she’s gonna win Eurovision with it.

The song is fine and the performance is obviously very visually interesting, but it’s all giving Euphoria redux and I don’t think that’s enough to win the whole thing.

Like Euphoria had a CHORUS - this is just the typical case again where there is a build to a non-existent drop. This isn’t a song I see mainstream audiences going absolutely wild over for years to come and playing on the radio constantly. It’s just… mid at best.

That being said - she’s so charismatic and her performance skills are next level. But she needed a way better song. If she wants to go back to Eurovision then I’m all for it but “Tattoo” is not the song that’ll win her the competition even if she wins MelFest.

In my opinion, not every song needs a "drop". I really blame the press for similar reactions to yours. For some reason, they described it as a dance song, a "banger", back to her 2012 Euphoria and heal dance sound etc. I don't think it's anything like that. It did take me a minute to readjust my expectations when it came out. Yes, it features strings similar to Euphoria but it's nothing like it to me.

I would definitely compare it more to Statements. It's a cinematic pop song that builds up to the climax and energy of the final chorus. It's not a dance song with a drop.

If Universal do let her carry on with an EP or even an album from what she's said, those songs are more dancey.

Please let us cut the word "EP" from our vocabulary for now. I need a new -ALBUM- from Loreen. Not an EP.

The last one was released in 2017 and that was too long ago.

Honestly, no. This song is faaaar more epic than Euphoria - it is similar, but it feels more of a Ying/Yang vibe. It builds up throughout, which in my opinion is far more interesting than a standard verse drop into a chorus and rinse and repeat standard pop structure - it keeps you listening. The staging is light years ahead of what Euphoria was as well.

i feel like this sound could use an extended version to really take it to the stratosphere

Not all dance songs need a drop

what is this nonsense? :rip:

It‘s a good song and a great performance, but Euphoria and Statements were lightyears ahead of this.

It's a very good song IMO, she needs to sing this at Eurovision and I'm rooting for another win from her.
