I think ESC fans just want a big sound like this instead. And Loreen sounds kinda rough in the studio version of Statements. The vocals in the live performances were a lot better.

I liked Statements, I just think the performance killed it. No way was that ever winning Melfest. It also broke one of my music sins, children singing.

I thought the little girl was creepy, lol. Wednesday Addams vibes. But I did like the "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" reference in the performance.

Statements was a smash, better than Tattoo.

I’m so happy for her, just to have the validation of her home country for her art. She’s so criminally underrated, and I know that it comes in part from how much she leans towards the more experimental side of pop. But this really was such a great combination of all sides to her. And the Amazigh references in the performance.
 

And this doing well even on UK iTunes. Hope it charts here so she can finally tour here. I need to see her live.

She mentioned Bey was interested prior to release but Loreen decided to keep the song. It would’ve presumably ended up on Lemonade which would make sense considering the lyrics.

I have trust in the international jury giving Loreen way more points than Markus and Martinus, altho the duo might be abit stronger regarding the tele votes seeing as they have a lot of younger fans. If the Swedish people make sure we send Markus and Martinus to ESC I'll be moving away from this country with no taste

It increased everywhere except for Latvia (where it's stable) it seems!

 

All the others songs dropped in streams, she increased

 

She's managed to get some Swedish radio play as well
