If she's so "irrelevant" and such a "non-factor" whose name people only know because of who her brother is, why are you so threatened by her presence?

Alot of people hate what's popular and what alot of others seem to like. The constant threads on Reddit coming at women like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, as well as them routinely being associated with the word "overrated" sort of prove it.

 

There's no logical reason to dislike, so it becomes a topic of them being overhyped or an attack on their fanbases (Preppy White girls, gays etc.) even though we're well aware they have incredibly diverse bases.

 

And the hate coming from straight men 99% of the time sort of proves this because they stan the most problematic rappers and Rockstars but hold these women to impossibly high standards.

Yes and the hoops Atrl jumps through to say she’s being hateful is ridiculous. I don’t understand why lip syncing is a crime and I’m assuming your talking about Myah Marie singing for her on Cd’s…while Britney had no freedom or agency.

I second this, people get so worked up about Janet and her ‘daily streams’ as if them being low means her icon status is nonexistent and all her achievements and impact just doesnt exist

The ironic thing about him is everyone on this site LOVED him before he got massive. I heard of him through here. When he dropped I think X the one with the Pharrell songs everyone was up his ass. Once he became a powerhouse seller with thinking out loud everyone turned on him on ATRL. It was so weird. He was deemed a threat to their female favs and everyone turned on him calling him ugly and what not. 

I think the hate for Chloe is weird. People hate her for doing too much and trying hard but they will swear up and down we need more talented performers in this generation. Then give credit to a blonde pop star who can’t sing and can’t perform
