Okay but it coming out Friday makes sense because a couple days ago I kid you not I got a TikTok ad by a fake SZA stan account (it’s this thing Sony does where they make videos essentially pretending to be GP posting fake viral tweets related to artist or fan accounts posting content etc, they also do it for Adele, Harry, Bey; pretty great marketing if you ask me), ANYWAYS the ad was heavily promoting “Shirt”. Like a compilation of tweets begging for it…

 

I found it pretty weird considering why would a label promote an unreleased song that doesn’t have any inclination of being released  but it makes sense if an announcement was being planned for this week

It’s definitely being pushed forward by someone. At one point there were talks of it being released as a collab with Doja Cat. Who knows what’s actually going on behind the scenes but someone better ******* release it asap or I’m gonna lose it.
