I don’t mind Adele being non-versatile though. She sticks to her lane and she’s damn good at it.

Yeah, I’m sorry but you have to be delusional to think Miley is more versatile than Bey. Madonna I can see the argument for (although I disagree), but Miley? No.

1. Katy Perry - all she's done is pop, pop and even more pop incorporating various subgenres (pop-rock, trap, synth-pop). And no, that gospel album is NOT a Katy Perry album.

2. Britney. Nothing but dance pop, being influenced by other genres on this and that song.

3. Adele. Her discography is one long album - make a huge playlist out of it and you won't even notice when one album ends and another starts.

jaskdjfaks just listen to Taylor's 3 AOTY-winning albums and you will see why she is one of most versatile pop girls. Just look at Love Story-Shake It Off-Cardigan 

Definitely Taylor Swift. All same type of vanilla music without any seasoning.

Yeah, Adele, Britney and Katy. I don't think Britney and Adele are not versatile, they just haven't shown yet what they're capable to do. On the other hand, whenever Katy does something remotely different from what she's used to... it just doesn't fit her, she's definitely not versatile as a singer, and it's not a bad thing, she should just stick to keep doing pop.

I'd say Katy. Take away the gimmicks, the kitschy hypersexualized videos and looks, and what's left? Absolutely nothing

As they deserve...

I find it absolutely ridiculous how Taylor and Xtina are choices when both of them have released records from multiple genres.

 

To answer the poll though Adele is a clear choice for me, I haven't seen much change in her music tbh, I still adore her though x
