It got overshadowed by Cruel Summer, Paper Rings, and Afterglow. 

it's basic so not really

Lover is mixed album. Full of show stopping hits and basic ballads. Cornelia Street is on the basic side. Death By A Thousand Cuts out sold 

ME!racle out-impacted all Lover songs, unfortunately, so the reputation lite tracks like Cruel Summer and Cornelia Street were overshadowed.

It’s a highlight of the album.  Like a sequel to All Too Well, except she is getting into a relationship knowing that the memory will haunt her if it ends.

The production is vile. The live version is so much better.

Uh, no. The production is actually really mesmerizing and well done. It's like a light, positive and carefree version of All Too Well.

And yes, it is too underrated. I do love Cruel Summer, Afterglow but Cornelia really deserves to be discussed, as well as False God and DBATC.

How is it underrated if it's in the top 10 most streamed tracks off the album daily? 

But yes it deserves to be doing CS and PR numbers.

It was my fav from the album when it came out, probably not my fav anymore but it’s still definitely top 3. Her voice sounds amazing and the production is fresh

Everything on lover is underrated.

It's cheesy, basic, and bland. It isn't offensively bad but it's definitely a skip, and Cruel Summer and Afterglow are superior.

One of best songs

 

Will never listen to it again because it reminds me of the most heartbreaking period of my life but one of her best songs nonetheless
