NCT have more to offer in terms of visuals. Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Winwin, Xiaojun, and several other cute members. There's only Yuta, Johnny, Jisung and Mark that I'm not really into

Aespa's Japanese debut would make sense if it's a bit after their Korean comeback, but NCT Dream...especially after their repackage I doubt the Japanese debut would be soon, maybe nearer the end of the year?

2NE1 used to sell over 100k for their albums, and now Minzy + CL + Bom combined can't even shift 50k

This. And also Hyoyeon was always one of the least popular girls in SNSD. The sales are not that surprising to me.

To be fair, all 3 of them left their agency YG, whereas HYO is still in SM, so that's not the same situation. 

 

Ironically, I think Taeyeon solo career cannibalized all the music buyers in the SNSD fanbase. None of the other girls can sell many solo albums except her and SM knows that. Oh well.

In Korea? She's lucky if she even has 100 fans tbh

 

Those sales are from international fans, and Hyoyeon is just not that popular, but she's doing fine. She is selling close to CL's weekly sale for Alpha in 2 days, which says a lot since people seem to brag about CL's international popularity a lot.
 

Why do people expect Hyo the least popular member to have Yoona, Tiffany, or even Taeyeon numbers. Hyoyeon fans expection or non fans expectation to be precise is just absurd. Even SM insider prediction only predicted 10k sales for her album, which imo will be met sooner or later.
