its not going to have any affect on actual groups numbers imo. the only reason its doing as well is because its from an animated film which is more palatable to westerners than actual groups. if it were any random group release it wouldn't have done half a well and less people would be interested

Wonyoung is a bigger celebrity than Karina imo. Karina was huge and everywhere last year from shows and her own group having a bigger year but in terms of impact Wonyoung has the edge. Her literally cultivating a huge lifestyle wave with Lucky Vicky and Wonyoungism is kinda proof of that. It reminds me of Hwasa and Jennie a few years back Hwasa kinda being everywhere music and variety wise but Jennie being a bigger trendsetter.
