The boyz, TXT, Stray kids, NCT, Astro are full of visuals, what are you talking about?

I lowkey stan LE SSERAFIM, but if Gabully gets Soojin'ed, I won't be mad cause at least we get 5 member formations. :cm:

Maybe she's innocents and is waiting for the legal team to clear the waters and that's why she's unbothered ddd

But honestly even if she is guilty, what is exactly is she supposed to do? Spend the rest of her life in jail cause she was a bully when she was 12? :deadbanana: I don't care if she goes or stays, but if she's nice now and treats the people around her well then let her be.

Idol is a job like many other after all. Would the accusators go to her boss to complain if she was a librarian or worked in a bank instead? This was obviously done out of jealousy to her.

If she's guilty, then she should either apologise to the victims and be forgiven (not likely and looks like it's too late) or leave the group. She should not have tried to become a public figure.

The bullying may have been a trauma to the victims. Reliving the trauma every time she's on TV or the news and seeing her receiving love and support from other people isn't fair (for a lack of better word) to the victims.

A librarian or someone who works for a bank have little to none influence on the young and can be avoided after graduation. It is a serious issue in SK and has led to many suicides, it's not to be taken lightly. A bully continuing on to promote as an idol and living the high life would serve a bad example of bullies not getting any negative consequences for their bullying and the cycle repeats. If we are to believe that bullying is rampant in schools, many who have grown up being bullied would not want her to continue promotions either.

IVE should capitalize off this and do a campaign against bullying or something

Gabully's case seems to be way worse than Sooiljin or APRIL so i don't know how anyone could defend her :celestial5:

I don't think anyone is defending her nor her alleged actions, but rather just looking at things from a more reasonable perspective.

Which is why I was asking what y'all think should happen with the girl? Is she not supposed to work again in her life again? Cause being entertainer is a job afterall.

Is everyone suggesting they kick her out and she works at a flower shop or something instead? Cause that would be rather ridiculous to deny her work because it's not the work YOU would agree for her to do.

I think you're missing all the cultural nuances of how serious bullying is in Korea. School bullying is literally horrendous in Korea and most people in the Korean GP have had some kind of experience of it, which is why the public takes it so personally and seriously.

Nobody is saying she should "never work again". But if the allegations against her are true, I don't think she should be in a job that gives her a public spotlight and platform. We are talking about someone who, if it is true, has committed violence against disabled people and severe bullying requiring the victims to be placed under protection.

That kind of person shouldn't be put on a pedestal imo, especially as she has no discernible talent.

I agree, these are all valid points. However if there's been a restricting order in place than it's safe to assume that there hve been negative consequences for the bullying and she/that group have been sanctioned by the school most probably since they seem to be involved in it.

Also, from what I see there's no accusations of her being a bully now and promoting as an idol, unless I'm missing something. She might as well have changed over the years, everyone is quick to judge but not give a chance it seems?

Idk just food for thought. Definitely a sensitive topic though.

Thankfully I'm not that invested in public figures to care. Will continue to bop if they release good tracks, with or w/o miss Garam there :celestial2:

But it really don't makes sense sis, so it is ok to cyberbullying her everyday because she was allegedly a bully at 12?

If bullying is really an issue on Korea, they should stop bullying a 16yo girl. Nothing has been proved yet.

We have big cases like Tara where everything was a lie and Korea has learned nothing it seems.

HYBE handled this the wrong way.

It seems like they were trying to paint it like Garam's accusers were just "jealous anons trying to ruin her", that it would actually be beneficial for her in the long run since it aligns with their "BE FEARLESS! Haters can't stop me!" concept. It's like they genuinely thought nothing of these allegations and never expected things to blow up like this.

They should've just had Garam sit back on promotions and put her back on the shelf, at least until things calm down a la Woolim with Jisoo

I guess people are quick to judge because it is sensitive and many were victims of bullying. I imagine if she has really changed over the years, she would have more acquaintances or people that know her defending her. And I don't remember if it was the victim who made the allegations or other students, but ,ideally, the victim would have also received an apology and she forgiven.

The nose 'joke' and her getting caught rolling her eyes in one or two clips didn't help her case either.

That's not really the public's fault though. It's HYBE and Garam for being evasive and paying expensive lawyers to sue her classmates.

The public are going to discuss the situation because it is serious, it's up to HYBE and Garam to show she's innocent, but all they keep saying is "we are taking legal action". She's not a normal girl, she is a public figure who has just debuted, so right or wrong, people are going to comment, especially on a sensitive issue like this.

The best way to kill these kinds of scandals is to admit it or show some clear proof that it is fake.

Only Yunghoon and Juyeon (his new nose ruined it), just Soobin and Yeonjun, No, out of the 23 there’s like 5 who are good looking, just Eunwoo and MJ

Garam  just needs to pack her things and leave and the SK public will give LSF what they gave Idle

Seriously. Garam is a newbie she doesn’t have the fandom to defend her no matter what. So it’s funny how HYBE thought people would forget once she debuts. Now there are accusations everyday. With all these bullying scandals I thought companies would handled better but Hybe is doing a worse job than cube. :rip:
