I like the look, performance itself is awkward with how little they're engaging with one another. I don't expect it to be as fluid as the music video, but a bit more would be good  Maybe other parts of it were "warmer"

If DWAS is being performed at the VMAs and LG7 is allegedly going to be released this month or at least the single, then why can't she also perform LG7 lead there? VMAs are flopping nowadays but it is still the VMAs. I think that there's no lead single and that she will release the music all at once

They're concentrating harder on singing, we know MTV is quite a harsh proponent of auto-tuning the SH*T out of everything.  

 

DWAS is super hard to sing for Bruno too and his voice is TIRED from tour and Vegas.

Not been feeling the DWAS aesthetic tbh. They look like the country ballad trolls from Trolls World Tour.  Her Coke Queen looks would suit Bruno more (Versace dress, long nails, sleek hair), though it is memorable & keeps them from looking like a basic influencer millennial couple.

Bruno has that policy for every Vegas show, it wasn't specifically implemented for that date 

She looks thinner than other recent appearances. Must be getting in shape for Venice and LG7!

I think it's a Haus problem; her team isn't very good . When she's home alone taking selfies, she usually looks beautiful.

It's a classic, early 70s Dolly Parton (with a hint of Brigitte Bardot) + Porter Wagoner reference...

 

 

Whatever thoughts one may have about the aesthetic itself, it was a brilliant creative decision to go for a 70s Western style. It creates a sense of intrigue. I've seen so many reactions where before watching the video people are like "Oh okay, this is giving me country vibes" and then they watch it and listen to the song and it's a soft-rock/soul ballad and they're pleasantly surprised. That attracts eyeballs and creates a double surprise effect.

 

Anyways, I like the aesthetic, it's something different for her but that particular wig with the feathered bangs looks messy. These looks were fab. More of this Gagz, please!

Promo wise, I'd love for them to release a more stripped-down/acoustic or even live version of this.

I actually think the wig is fine. She's had far worse wigs with Frederic's trademark visible harlines.
