I definitely thought Gaga would've been in the scene with dead dance, but I think it's kinda smart that she isn't, so it doesn't feel like she just came into the show to do her new song and have it feature the characters. It was a cool dance scene I could see people doing some of the choreo on TikTok, it seems pretty simple in parts 

 

A radio deal is kinda stupid for a mid-week release, by the time the song debuts on the Hot 100 all the AI will already have rolled over. Lowkey, I don't know if we should be celebrating Netflix managing this. The K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack smashing happened because people liked it, not because they were competent at managing the songs.

The Dead Dance is really cute, it has to be genre thing if you dislike it (which is wild to me because these are sounds I associate with her more than some other genres).

Well, you can only have a radio deal on a premiere day. It's amazing they got one at all for a mid-era single (new or not.)

Agreed, her being in the dance would have been overkill with a whole separate music video coming and would have made it seem like she was just tacked on to give her music promo. I'm glad the approach they've taken to incorporate her as a character has come across natural.
