if she replaced BoG with Happy Mistake it would be a perfect tracklist but anywho

Right? It would have been an immaculate album if Happy Mistake replaced #that song. Now I have to hide that song, to enjoy this masterpiece.

I'm really struggling to connect with the song.

Of course this only can be explained with the Gagavoodoo/curse for doing the Private Show review for TDD

I'm sure the video will be 10/10

Ugh GodGa

I'm guessing we also should be seeing reviews soon of Lady Gaga's Wednesday Part Folia a Deux?

From the funky disco tracks Shadow of a Man still the best song, then Zombieboy and Kill For Love is slightly over The Dead Dance (that could change eventually tho) only bc the latter is a simpler song that probably would've stayed shelved until they found its purpose with Wednesday.

The verses are pure perfection, my only complaint is the chorus. I fell like the "thats when you killed me inside" should  come first, before the "dancin until I'm dead".

Yeah one thing that no one can argue against is that this is a huge earworm. Ever since I heard the hook as been involuntarily replaying on my brain. It feels evil almost dddd.

Not content with releasing one of the year's biggest albums - seventh LP 'MAYHEM', obvs - Lady Gaga has now treated us to an early Halloween banger in the form of new track 'The Dead Dance'.

Just like her latest record, the single is an all-out instant classic that calls back to the pulsing synth-pop of Gaga's earliest days, while also incorporating an irresistible disco bassline.

DIY

right that's what the whole fan base was begging for since the I Want Your Love snippet and LG5 rumour... she gave us everything we wanted and make it an extra spicier version of future nostalgia (which we also wanted for during the chroma era)

At first I was disappointed, but I fear her next solo smash is finally coming

Well, you can only have a radio deal on a premiere day. It's amazing they got one at all for a mid-era single (new or not.)

Besides the Netflix involvement, I think it being a droplet (so far, before it gets added to MAOTYHEM ) helps too. Special droplets (like soundtrack singles) and leads usually get once-per-hour play deals more easily.

omg Netflix really promote this song

Gotta say LGN's "this is not to be considered a deluxe edition" is veryyyyyyy suspicious. Who are you to tell me what I can and can't consider a deluxe edition? Unless……?

But people are doing too much on it, I find it way better than Don't Call Tonight for example

It's better than Don't Call Tonight, The Beast and Blade Of Grass.

It's on a similar tier to LoveDrug and the remaining bonus tracks, that all range from 7-8's.

I hope the video has some twisted/quirky Gaga moment on it

the way i can hear both a mega smash hit and a total bomb, ha mind, time will tell the truth
