I still can’t conduct a trinity for the life of me. My most played so far tho:

Move and Energy grew on me a lot. 

 

Virgos Groove was my instant favorite, but it’s just a little long and I started to skip towards the last 3 minutes to get what I need out of it

I've been listening to the album non stop and i'm still overwhelmed. It's so surreal to think that we actually got new music. So far "Virgo's Groove", "Summer Renaissance" and "Plastic off the Sofa" are highlights for me but it's just what i think right now. There are many gems and i'm again so happy and proud to live in the same time as her and experience her artistry and vision. She's the GOAT.

It's wild that I cannot stop listening to this album. I woke up and immediately put the album on. It puts me in such a good mood.

-Cuff It has that fun feel good “retro” disco vibe that made About Damn Time and Blinding Lights big 

-Heated would work great as well, it’s a drake track but heavily improved and revamped you can’t go wrong with that formula

-Thique deserves Tiktok virality

-Alien Superstar has a lot going on in the song for me to think it should be pushed, however I like the song and I would love a fan fave track to be pushed and it’s different to the stuff currently on radio. And even the label was stanning for it

So what are y'all thoughts in regards to singles? I feel like we'll only get one more official single but

2.Virgo's Groove (radio edit for adult Contemporary)

And anything else is a wild card but Alien Superstar seems to be doing the best

Cuff it or Alien for me!

I feel like there are lot of tracks that will do well on with urban audiences but I think they'll live organically in clubs. 

 

I'm a bit biased against Cuff it because it doesn't sound unique to Bey

 

McDonald's is sending out Renaissance merch.  I wonder why.

I made it out of SUSPENSION-landia. Phew, what a ride it was reading yalls reaction to the masterpiece that Renaissance is. My track for track review is coming, but the neverending scalping of this album is borderline jail-worthy. Its a crime to be that good and scalp and slay so many people all over the world at once.

Single Contenders:

Summer Renaissance - in my opinion the best representation of the album and a surefire hit if pushed.

Cuff It -> multiformat smasha and nonbrainer when it comes to having a successful second single after BMS

Heated -> Again, it has radio appeal like barely any other song, and the last minute is a match made in heaven for TikTokers.

America Has A Problem and/or Thique - Urban Single in the US. It has everything to domination that format and slay. Its infectious.

I could see Alien Superstar in Europe doing things and maybe Church Girl slaying Urban radio akin to AHAP.

My Personal favs (which is super difficult to say):

S Tier: Cozy, Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Heated, Pure/Honey, Summer Renaissance

A+ Tier: Thique, Virgos Groove, I'm That Girl

A Tier: Energy, America Has A Problem, Move, Church Girl, Break My Soul

B Tier (sorry): All Up In Your Mind

Why is there such a lack of reverb and panning on some of these songs? People were saying the production was saving the album but for me it was the vocals and even some of the rapping that helped the album, however the mixing ITSELF is a disaster imo??? So much high end in some of her vocals, no reverb or anything to create a space ?
