They have, otherwise they wouldn't have done all that teasing with the whole "what is a B7" thing, that's something that only fans would have picked up, and media started reporting it because of the fans going into a frenzy. They definitely were on the money the way they kicked off the era. The teasing, the clues. It was fun. The Vogue article and photo shoot. The mystery boxes.

 

But as a fan, I do find it to be torture to have complete silence since then. 
 

Beyoncé literally only agreed to an announcement and a single release. She said everything is a surprise. Ugh.

 

And I personally think it’s a missed opportunity. Does everyone remember she has an album coming out? Does everyone even know there is an album coming?

 

I just hope it works out in the end.

The only way it works (in a less irritating way than it already is) is if she's not visibly part of the campaign but the IVP drop benefits from her being out musically (which has yet to happen since IVP relaunched). 

 

This may be the smartest time to tie something into it musically too, even if an instrumental preview of a new song. 

 

Outside of that, it's arguably kinda distracting. While IVP has made cool strides, it still feels very tied to Bey (compared, for example, to how Fenty thrives beyond Rihanna). Heading into release week for Renaissance, Bey needs everyone spending $$$ on her album not a clothes drop. Even if fans do focus all the attention on Renaissance, it begs the question of what benefit there is for IVP dropping in the same frame. IMO, IVP should have come after Renaissance...even if that meant forgoing a summer capsule.

 

Bey's name is about to be red hot with all that's incoming. I just don't see the necessity of dropping IVP now.
