I feel like as a fandom and Beyoncé’s music career in general we are in a gray area. On one hand I think people are both under and over estimating Beyoncé. We know she’s a boss and icon however we also know she’s been absent from steaming/ghosting for a while. So no one really knows what to predict. Plus being kept in the dark doesn’t really help either lol 
 

The media seems ready to pounce. It feels like  I need to get ready for the onslaught similar to the bday era.

I feel like there might be a hold up with the video because Beyoncé doesn't think she's fully "snatched" yet.

 

The last time we saw one of her candids, she still looked a little larger than she usually is during her album eras. Instagram is Instagram and it's been proven that she does edit her pictures from time to time.

 

I feel like the video may have been shot, but she might not feel like she's 100% there yet body wise. The single cover looks like it may be from the video shoot so I'm thinking this was one and done a while back.

 

So...yeah, idk, that's what I think. How about y'all?

she just did a vogue magazine shoot looking amazing and it doesn't make sense if that were the reason bc she chose the renaissance cover that represents the entire era. I'm still sticking to my gut thinking she has a renaissance film and wants us to experience it in its entirety instead of having the BMS video spoil everything. she'll give the scraps (BMS video) to YouTube when she decides to drop the film.

I agree. I'd say all her previous eras generated more polarising reactions, initially. The response to BMS has been overwhelmingly positive compared to Formation, Deja Vu, Run the World, or even Drunk In Love.

 

They're probably basing it off the fact that Bey's haters are constantly monitoring her every move and praying on her downfall but let's not forget that's been ongoing since the beginning of her career and she's still completely smashing it after 25 years.

Thing is with those, it’s mostly only people who are interested in the artist in the first place that will watch. The Adele special didn’t really do all that for her.
