So ya'll think we getting the Cowboy Carter Tour film for Black Friday on streaming? I mean if there's no trailer by next weekend then I'm counting this project as not coming this year if at all. Unless she's planning a Xmas release. If ACT III is coming in 2026 she needs to wrap up this CC Tour era soon & drop the damn film. It would make zero sense for her to be pushing a CC Tour film in 2026 when she's heading into a new year & new era.

Lets be real: She should treat Renaissance as the anomaly it was and just leave CCT Tour as it was. Lay low, build excitement, and then go ALL in with Act 3 by giving us the album first and the entire film 2-3 months later and a subsequent Trilogy WORLD Tour after that with a Copacobana Performance in February 2027. 

That would be ideal.

I think there will be no CC film, at least looking at her business tactics over the last decade where scarcity is used to her advantage. For example, we could have had a Formation World Tour DVD or streaming experience in 2017, but instead she skipped it and waited until Coachella (2018) and Homecoming (Netflix, 2019), thereby putting all attention and focus on that, making it feel newer, fresher, more unique and awaited.

 

I think she'll prob skip this film (and it would be a tad repetitive to do the same thing basically), so that desire for her touring content is placed upon the next act's tour, which as the finale will probably be marketed and conceived as a sort of grand finale, which then may or may not have its own film to mark the end of the era (and/or the visuals could do that lol).

oops you already said what I said but more succinctly.

For the act III cover I think she stays with the black background for continuity reasons, but the horse will be darker brown with white markings. The overall theme could be red, but it's hard to predict when CC's cover, while staying in the trilogy's lane, was kinda left field.

Yeah, I don't think a CCT release is coming, and that's okay as I expect ACT will be coming in the late spring. 
 

My fear is this actually turns into a behydration situation, and she dips out, stringing us along for a year before ACT III comes. 

Ok lets discuss : What are some " serious " Act III predictions yall have - from Sound / Collabs / Release Date / Look   ( based on sources that are/were trust worthy - the material we got so far etc  )

I went down a Twitter rabbit hole and I honestly believe the family member she might pay homage to next (after Uncle Johnny and her country music-loving Uncle Butch) is her maternal grandmother Agnez Dereon, the beginning of the seamstress family line.

 

 

I remember seeing print ads (like the one above) in the mid-00s for that House of Dereon dress line and they looked very 40s/50s/60s/70s. Guess whose photo also subtly appeared in those ads? 

 

(Edit: As clothing is a big component, will she find some way to reboot Dereon or Ivy Park?)

 

With that in mind, and the era Mrs. Dereon grew up in, I think Ella Fitzgerald - Billie Holiday - Dinah Washington jazz, big band/swing, Motown/Stax, Betty Davis, and maybe some counterculture / Woodstock / psychedelic Rock (Jimi Hendrix) are in the cards, ending with the 1980 rise of Prince / Vanity / Apollonia.

 

Several official birthday videos full of future collaborators have been made over the last few years, as well as random Beyoncé mentions in the rollouts of others and intriguing backstage tour reunions, so based on who's left from these my money is currently on Snoh Aalegra, Jack White, Stevie Wonder, and Leon Bridges as Act III collaborators.

 

The-Dream, Raphael Saadiq, INK, Novawav, and Dixson have been a consistent presence on the music side across both acts, so I'll include them too.

The strategy to release Halo/Single Ladies was to cater to everybody (duh).
 

Beyoncé and Matthew wanted Broken Hearted Girl as the final single but the label pushed for Sweet Dreams cause they thought it was a smash. 
 

Beyoncé thought End of Time was the hit of the album and would be a single (or first single?) but it got leaked. He described the whole era as a **** show. 
 

The radio stations didn't think Run The World (Girls) was a single for some reason. (I'm not sure if he meant that the label wasn't clear that it was the first single or if they were asking for a different song from her lol). Then the label was confused as to why Beyoncé performed 1+1 on American idol because it wasn't a single. At the last minute they pushed Best Thing I Never Had as the 2nd single to stabilize the album.

When you read she was about to do the choreography Teyana Taylor subsequently used for the "Fade" visual in this music video...? Crazy.

 

"End Of Time", "Countdown", "Love On Top", and "Schoolin Life" as the main four singles with zero leaks would have been a bloodbath.
