I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I just said it will be difficult for them to live up to the hype and myth that surrounds them. Only her most hardcore fans will engage with an extensive visual film covering over three hours of music. I'd love her to just put it on youtube for us to enjoy when she's ready. I'm definitely not waiting on them, but I think it will also be challenging to build up hype around them with the GP and make it a commercially successful endeavour with a streaming platform, or theatrical release

Her first vocal peak definitely happened during B'day. My god, her voice was just soo bright, ROBURST, girly and bright yet still pack so much power. Like it feels like she can belt for hours and hours and hours without getting retired.

then it peaked again during 4 when the weight and thickness increased yet everything else remained either the same from Bday or better. I just love love love her vibrato soo much during this era. It sounds classically trained!

if you don't think bey releasing visuals for ren/cc would go viral then you're delusional. she is known for visuals and if they're any good, people will watch and share like crazy. it would probably help with streaming a lot too. did you guys forget how instrumental the videos for st and lemonade were? if the videos are put out at the right moment, they can be huge for her.

I tend to agree. The GP will look at the highlights that will be shared on social but won't actually sit down to watch a few hour long visuals. The fans and the haters will.

It would have been nice if she released the videos for the singles she put out from the albums (despite there not being that many) and then followed up with the full film that connects the eras in the end. That way the singles (which were successful anyway) would have been supported somehow and she would have given us fans something to be excited about until the whole thing comes together.

I agree. I think she should publish them as standalone music videos, and tied together as a film. That will drive up overall engagement too.

The visuals finally being released will definitely cause a splash, especially if they're good (and they will be) but I don't know how much they can help years old albums, especially if it's dense, hours long world building. The GP won't bother. Only of she cuts it up and releases single music videos but still, who will watch a new music video in 2026 for a song from 2022.

The depth and control she had over her voice is night and day between DIL and DF in the same way her artistry is night and day before and after 4 and ST.

But yeah B'Day is simply outstanding and in hindsight is the era she was on fire the most :clap3:

Absolutely. It's such a shame they removed the live album from Spotify.

This is not true. I'm a "casual" HUGE fan of bey and if she were to release something like that, me and lots of people like me would be butts in sofa for the serve… I really believe that. She low key invented the visual film, this is her signature serve…

The thing about the visuals is she's between a rock and hard place.

Bey is about her bag. Throwing out a bunch of videos for free on YouTube is just not going to happen anymore. She also doesn't have the YouTube momentum she once had, because she's been striking these exclusive network/streamer deals for over a decade. She of course radiates at a more revered level that the Ariana's and co, but how wild would it look having the "new Beyonce videos" trailing behind in numbers to an Ari or Sabrina? The optics wouldn't be it.

I don't doubt that her team could throw some spend behind getting her visuals in front of the right eyes with YouTube ads, but that's her coming off money rather than making it.

The Netflix and Netflix adjacent visual albums allow her be big, splashy, and long-form, while not putting her numbers on front-street (imagine the meltdowns had BIK #s been visible for all to see lol). She also gets a big bag from the streamer to do it.

It's a little irksome because it eventizes and longs out what ultimately will still be interconnected music videos that theoretically could be dropped on YouTube, but it's all par for the course.

this trilogy was poorly promoted.

the music is phenomenal but renaissance and cowboy carter could've been more explosive.

sad reality is another artist (like t*ylor, g*ga, j*nelle, ad*le, or even dr*ke) will do their own 3 act trilogy and keep they foot on the gas to make it an epic moment. while renny is only thing gp will admire/care abt.

Quiet as it's kept, this is still her best live rendition of CIL for the brilliance of that Gnarls Barkley interpolation alone
