The Jordan Peele references THIQUIIN … someone on TikTok mentioned what if "Cowboy Carter" is the character in the alleged visuals. And my own prediction—what if "Betty Black" represents the current state of events? According to Google—the song "Black Betty" represents the current state of events within the prison system… a current and ongoing reality. I think act iii could obviously represent the current as act i was FUTURE and act ii is PAST. This would go along with the Echoville lore as well as The Echo newspaper. I forget where, but someone mentioned during RWT that Beyoncé would tie all of these together using different forms of media which seems like act iii could potentially be print/newspaper. Beyoncé, her miind.

She references "lady with a whip" in both RENAISSANCE and COWBOY CARTER … could it be alluding to "Betty Black?" Let me know in the comments. s:wan:

Show average

Chicago - 15 million

NYC - 16.5 million

San Fran - 15 million

LA - 15 million

Houston - 15.5 million

Thank you. I think the other cities will gross far better though. LA was actually one of the struggling residencies

yes, live nation has a monopoly on the entertainment event industry. although other promoters like AEG exist, live nation has the majority share of the market and they milk it for all its worth. i watched a video about it from the Wall Street Journal. Basically they own stakes in the management companies (LN owns a stake in roc nation for example) and in the vendors at the event (LN owns a stake in Liquid Death), and of course in ticketmaster, so they are able to force venues to use their ticketing system in order to book artists under their roster and use their beverages at the concession stands and they collect money 360 degrees from every aspect of the show. it's nuts.

Biblical greed.

I am so proud of you guys today.

I seriously love each and every one of you.

Like you guys PULLED through.

Had she just announced this tour IMMEDIATELY after the Beyoncé bowl. Those tickets would've sold out instantly. 100%, and that's my only complaint with her this whole era.

She would've been able to avoid the whole LA fire controversy as well and those tickets would've aaallll already been bought before that stuff happened. Let's also not forget that Diddy bullsh*t too. :deadbanana2:

Girl...the diddy bullsh*t had nothing to do with or affect beyonce at all. That sounds like a silly facebook conspiracy. 55 million is HUGEEEE and the fact that New york and even Atlanta will surpass it is even better.

She does not need all these excuses to try to explain her gross...even though it was indeed a big number.

All love but if you don't think the d*ddy conspiracy has actually affected her public image you're fooling yourself. It's not right, but that doesn't mean it hasn't had an impact.

For the promotion strategy she had planned, four dates would've worked fine for LA. She could've have sold more sections and overall attendance and gross would've been similar.

She's obviously still made huge profit. But the strategy led to the media running those stories about demand. I think that suppressed demand as there was no incentive to buy tickets and people just watched prices fall.

And Parkwoods very flaccid promo strategy that they ended up rolling out in the aftermath of the stalling sales (which in London have been billboards and bus adverts) are quite weak, because they insist on using the tour poster image which ultimately isn't that exciting and didn't make an ounce of the viral splash the Renaissance tour poster did.

however you slice it, these numbers are both hugely impressive and a slight underperformance for Parkwood, and I pray they stop resting on their laurels as a result because they're squandering potential profits but also impact and longevity too

We all know the stage size argument holds weight but it'll be confirmed when Paris rolls around. The demand was there. They sold out so quickly and it was an absolute bloodbath. If the attendance is lower for CC than RWT then that confirms what we already know.

Hope Bey can get to 2billion

Her tour gross is actually currently $1,723,750,138 from 567 shows. The full breakdown can be found in the Receipts thread!

GAAGGGG IT! 55 Million is INSANNEEE and I'll ALWAYSSS stand by that. Especially with her doing literally 5 nights in one city for a STADIUM tour. And how botched the promo was.

But let's not act like when she won AOTY for Cowboy Carter, the entire internet wasn't spewing rac!sm and Diddy allegations left and right. I'm sorry but you cannot make me believe that the stupid a** allegations didn't play part in the narrative of her public perception. And let's not forget about the Jay-Z allegations that happened IMMEDIATELY after that. :deadbanana2:

Despite how messy she can be with her own music and promoting, and the crazy controversy that surrounded her for a YEAR straight. This is still f*cking insane, and any legend would DREAM of being able to have 5 $11m+ grossing nights consecutively in a ROW. Especially for their "flop" era.

I'm glad you are on the same page with me on how impressive this feat is lol. Because the rest of the Hive initially was panicking for some odd reason. But she gagged everybody in that d*mn stadium AND online.

THIISSSS!!! Thank you! Because that was some other mess. Especially when there was literal PROOF they had nothing to do with anything he was doing. And yet with that proof people were STILL falsely accusing her and Jay of being in it. Truly probably one of the most vile things I've seen a Pop Girl go through other than the Britney sh*t.

Say it louder. 8 shows in 2 years is historic for a reason and that's why it's notable. Certain people coming for that achievement when their fave hasn't sold out SoFi once and is playing its parking lot are just gaslighting you. Don't fall for it.

I personally did overestimate her gross in LA (:suburban:), but $55.7M is still great. Especially considering the Renny shows in Los Angeles were barely 1,5 years ago.

But we all know they oversaturated in Los Angeles a bit. No shows sold out until the day off should have made me estimate a little lower, but I was a bit delulu. HOWEVER, Las Vegas is the only other stop where none of the shows are practically sold out (99%+). Meaning, the other stops in NA will likely have higher average grosses. The New York gross especially will be nasty, with 3 shows being 99+% sold out, a fourth 98+% and the last 90+%. Mind you, the Los Angeles shows were averaging just a little above 90% sold out the week of opening night.

Still hope she has the best-selling tour of 2025, but competition from Kendrick & SZA and Shakira is a bit heftier now.

There is zero chance on this planet that kendrick will outgross her. Absolutely zero. LOL

His internationals shows will bring down his numbers a lot. Meanwhile bey has 3 sold out state de france shows

Trueeeeee, but I wanna go from overestimating her to underestimating her lol. :suburban:

The bridge of If I Were A Boy is severely underrated. Sing it *****!!

Ahhh I get to see her the next stop!

She better blast IIWAB in London!

If there was a live performance I wish I could see it would be this,  but will always have the video. She really captivated all the legends. Ugh and her teasing One More Try beforehand…

She should add another show to Paris and London…. A bit late but those would have been the dates to do so. Or while there stop in Spain or Italy for 2 stops each.

Only Paris or Houston. London kinda has the perfect amount since she's having such high prices for European standard. £224 or ~€270 is pretty much unheard of when it comes to general admission in stadiums.
