I hope she keeps most of the same IASF hits : Irreplaceable, IIWAB, Single Ladies. Maybe swap LOT for Halo. Or make them longer. I love LOT but it has gotten so much exposure compared to her other hits. Or better yet, keep LOT and swap Halo and All Night for some CC's interludes.

Keeping those same songs will make the new generation remember she's been at it for a while and give her old albums a bigger and bigger boost each passing date.

Totally agree; those IASF staples like Irreplaceable, IIWAB, and Single Ladies are musts. They're timeless and really showcase how long Beyoncé's been dominating. Swapping LOT for Halo could work too, or even extending them a bit like you said. But yeah, some of the current CC songs on the setlist feel unnecessary because they were either just performed on RWT or it feels like they're taking up space that could be used for stronger catalog cuts or better interludes. 2H2H doesn't get the shine it deserves because it's bogged down. Keeping a balance between the classics and the new era would hit harder and remind everyone just how deep her discography runs.

I'm inclined to agree with Devin. BILG served its purpose for RWT.  Listen being sung in a stadium would be a moment (fits the theme of being underestimated), halo is a universal song and would sound so amazing after an intimate song like protector.

Cowboy Carter doesn't need to be performed in its entirety. Sorry.

CCWT also doesn't have its distinct moments like RWT did. We had she ain't no diva, heated, mute challenge, the vogueing, the intro, the costumes, etc. and those "sounds" were all over tiktok. CCWT is understated but in the wrong way. The sounds that are used so far for the tour are still from the bey bowl.

I told the group this pages ago, I mentioned that she was basically using the BeyBowl as a rehearsal for the tour setup.

And this would be my biggest critique of the tour so far. I thought the bey bowl would be its own concept separate from the tour.

IASF is undefeated. It may not be her best album but it had the best singles released. And that my friends is why chart hive will always be right, the right single and the proper push will sell an album overall. That concludes my thesis.

Honestly why though? I guess I just know her brain from following her for so long. She kinda made it clear in the RENA movie how hard and time consuming it is to plan and execute a tour with all of the moving parts so it kinda makes sense that she would launch her tour (remember she only paused announcement due to the fires) by showing a preview of it to millions of people live to get them excited.

Also, these tours do overlay in a way so the aesthetic will match.

I do think we all want a change in setup / aesthetic in a dramatic way, but I think those years have passed and people just dont want to accept it.

We can talk about how the set list needs to improve all we want. But it will never improve as long as Beyoncé doesn't include songs that just make sense.

One Night Only, for example, should've been on the RWT set list. And I know SOMEONE on her team had to tell her to include it but she didn't. There also could've been room for her verse on Telephone, Haunted (a literal house song), Schoolin Life, and a whole other host of songs that deserved it over ******* RDY :jonny2:

Suga Mama, Irreplaceable and Single Ladies should've been on the set list from the FIRST NIGHT. Why is Diva and damn near all of Renaissance on the CCT? Who told her to include Summer Renaissance over the first three songs I mentioned?

Favé works so hard at not being a legacy act when in reality, she can be BOTH current while still celebrating her career spanning damn near three decades. I don't understand what the issue is.

I understand that, and yes, logistically it makes sense that she'd use the BeyBowl as a test run. However, my opinion, from a fan experience and perspective, it blurs the lines too much.  RWT had its own energy and iconic moments that made it feel like a true cultural event. With CCWT, it feels more like an extension or remix of the BeyBowl and RWT rather than a standalone era with its own defining features. I also get that the aesthetics are going to overlap but part of what made her past tours legendary was that each one carved out a very distinct vibe. That's what feels a little muted this time to me.

Maybe I will feel differently when I get to see it live in a few weeks.

Simple: She wants to focus on the acts as separate entities and tie them all together to create one universe.

After that she's probably going to push her Farewell Tour with her biggest Hits and call it a day in terms of big productions (shes gonna be 50 by then).

Your whole post is perfectly stated especially the bolded part and it's the biggest mystery.  Another example is the ballad section during RWT, imagine if she followed up DIL with halo and listen, etc. There's a million songs she can pull from.

Like she spent literally half the RWT avoiding the high notes of I Care when she could've simply changed the song :jonny2:

We STILL don't have a performance of Bigger :jonny2:

Baby RWT is over...this is the CC Tour. Not every tour is going to be RWT and it does not mean CC tour is not amazing.

Two things: I am curious to see how the show will look in open roof stadiums. And I'm wondering if each city will get different past hits. We will find out soon. Chicago n1 is expecting rain so I don't think she will be in the air.

my bet is the greatest hits medley will be the part that rotates songs/switches one or two out/have surprise songs

it's the easiest segment to play around with since she basically just sings snippets of the songs anyway, there's no visuals, backdrop or major choreo during that part + if she sings songs she already did a million times she won't have to rehearse a lot

im also really curious about how the flying segments will work in the open stadiums (which are like half of the tour :rip:). will they build some form of structure to make the flying possible ? will they just cut those and replace them with songs on the main stage (even tho i really don't see her cutting cuff it, jolene and 16C) or will she connect the B-stage in a way that doesn't need flying to be reached?

Confession time : I've been thinking, why is My House performed everywhere and in full? It had such a huge focus on Beybowl and it's not even from CC, as a matter of fact, it's not even in Renaissance's album.

Beyoncé is just so random! :lmao:

You can clearly see in the way she performs it that it's one of her fav new songs. Shes ON when performing My House

I know right!!!! It's so random. Maybe the theories of act iii being a rap/rnb/ rock fusion are true lol.

Maybe not flying will elevate 16c more. And she could walk over to the bstage. That would be fun for the audience on the ground.

now you know she would never unless there's at least a 50 meter wide gap between her and the commoners :deadbanana4:

but i agree that i'd like to see her do something else for 16C and cuff it

the tours are supposed to feel similar in feel. the acts are 1 big project, not 3 separate ones. the aesthetic of the staging is intentional. she wants the three tours to be tied together. it still feels distinct enough, and actually feels LARGER in scope than RWT.

i think seeing it live will change that for u
