So the average gross per night was 11m compared to rwt's 15m? Oh that's not……..

I was expecting higher or equivalent grosses due to the dynamic pricing

this argument makes no sense lol

we all know visuals are coming.

I'm confused about the 800 max ticket price. That amount wouldn't even get you close to the stage.

Well on that front she definitely did better.

She had 51k for Renaissance vs 40k for CC. So the gross is better for CC.

The stadiums were factually packed too, sold out or close to it so I guess the stage plus those VIP boxes are the reason of the low attendance.

they probably mean without fees.

my 5th row seat at the end of the runway was $800 before fees.

Jesus they did all that just for a tour teaser???

it was to promote the tour but it was also a music video for the song On The Run which was released as a single from jay's album.

My section 100 seats in Chicago were 870 before fees :rip:

they bit off more than they can chew this tour. had she gave us visuals, some hits, and a legit rollout. the revenue and attendance would be much higher.

part of me still believes she gave this era minimal promo to have the opportunity to snatch AOTY.

I agree.

It's kind of a catch-22, because her very unique positioning means there is always so much to consider. Arguably more than her peers.

She promotes. It's perceived as "trying" and there's an appetite to humble her.

She doesn't promote. She wins AOTY on the alleged merit of the music...but somewhat reaps the minus points of not having sufficient buzz for a feverishly sold-out tour.

Again, CC tour is already a success and will go on to deliver a huge final gross. But, beyond the veneer of the spin, there are definite lessons to learn.

it adds up when you remember how many times prices were reduced in LA especially.

NYC gross will be THEE gag though!

yup we coming to show out. :jonny5:

I'm confuse about box office gross guys sorry I'm new at this. Is 55 million not good? I thought that's amazing 😭 but it seems like there are ppl in here that are kinda disappointed.

objectively $55M isnt bad imo. but it should have been better than that.

we have tbh with ourselves the music isnt favorable to the masses like renaissance and she gave it 15% promo so yea this is the end result. :toofunny2: the meltdowns and discourse are to be expected.

On twitter, everyone esp hive aren't crying. They are gagging the haters who said the worst about her.

Her New York and Atlanta shows will surpass her la shows. This 55m is not her peak. Which is great

She had 43 for CC not 40.

It is indeed amazing. Don't pay them any mind. She literally broke a record and she will surpass that record multiple times on this tour.

It's good for a normal stadium tour but it is far below Renaissance tour's numbers. Renaissance tour in the same stadium did 15M a show vs. CC doing 11M.

Renaissance had 3 shows CC has 5 shows. The average will be higher for RWT..

Same but the average attendance for the Renny dates was 52k, I expected her to match the attendance and didn't add in inflation.

11.4x32…364M, maybe a bit less given Paris and a London…so 350?

That's not how it works. That just means Bey overestimated her demand by booking the 5 shows and should've only done 4 or 3, which is bad because your touring power is supposed to grow  :rip:

It's only a decline in touring power if the total earned in that city is less - not if the gross/date is less.

Exactly....lmao

The stage was much bigger and they were even moving seats last minute. I don't think she overestimated her demand. I think she didn't promote properly, but also is starting one of the biggest stadium tours during Trump's presidency and a TARIFF moment. Not only that but by the same album that had nothing but racists. Not only that but her "announcing"  and then cancelling her announcement cause of the LA fires. :deadbanana2:

i should note that my initial seats for that price were in the 200s. but because there were a bunch of unreleased floor seats that became available after the dynamic pricing of the initial sale i was able to upgrade my seat. the reason i was able to was because there were an abundance of seats from having so many dates booked. chicago probably sold out before that could happen
