Another performance she should share with the world. 

 

Frankly All Night and Irreplaceable are the only issues I have with the setlist. I feel that she dislikes Ne-yo though. 

Seeing All Night almost in her Top10 is amazing tho. If only the rest of Lemonade caught up that way. The only song that aged like milk on Lemonade is Sorry tbh. 

 

Anyway: We should pick the most promising song of the tour and put all our effort into making it go viral. I don't care if thats gonna be Protector, AHAP (because of Blue), Thique (because of Bills Bills Bills) or what not. We just need to get one Song going and the rest will follow

No bc the opening wasn't really doing it for me. The dancers being there and also the white fits blending with the white lights. Just give her a silhouette, fire in the back, 2x the fans with her hair blowing, and some cute Ya Ya choreo by herself. It wasn't at all what I envisioned in my head.  

I would also have liked less people on stage at the beginning. They're not interesting, no offense to them but they take away from her style. 

 

I preferred the moments when she was alone on stage or with few people.

I don't know.. I don't see the iconic moments that the RWT had tbh. Of course the show it's good (It's Beyoncé duhh) but you can tell she had way less time to conceptualize this tour. It feels like the highlight remains the Renaissance Act (the intro with I'm that girl, cozy with the robots, alien superstar). I can see that act being a part of her next tour as well because of how iconic it already is, but i don't see anything that will stick like that from cowboy carter acts (performace wise). Also RWT had more songs from other albums which made it more "balanced". This feels like an act I + act II tour (with the act I performances outshining the actual album she is touring). Obviously the fact that cowboy carter was a "slower" album doesn't help.. I liked YA YA and Spaghetti live. Some songs needed a live band to feel more "organic". I don't know what's her issue with performing older songs omg she KNOWS we want them that's why she's always teasing (freakum dress, bills bills bills)

can PLEEEEASE stop using what she did with I Am... Tour as example? Cause back in the day the Canada (and Seattle) shows were announced as rehearsal/pre-liminary shows,but not this time and shes has never done that again. Yeah, she may stop doing a whole section (memories) or change some arrangements but that's it.

All Night would have been ideal in place of BILG. I love BILG and it was an highlight for me at the Rennie tour, but I dont mind seeing it take the back seat this time around.

post 2014 she's always felt a need to make it look like some art piece and somehow include an army doing cirque du soleil formation arm waving, laying on her shoulder like it's the great supper where it isn't necessary bc she herself is THE spectacle. If they don't sit backstage and wait for her to finish… I need her flipping her hair during American Requiem with a mic stand and airing her ***** like where's the grit miss

What moments you felt were iconic during RWT? For me it was 1+1, Heated and AHAP. Plus from Loop The Sample to AS. 

Of course the incredible bodysuit with the hands on them plus the outfits. 

 

I think this tour has the potential to get those too. Maybe not the costumes because they are cowboy/country fits but this show has the the potential to get stronger iconic moments :

- The non propaganda first half plus the narrative of slavery and black people being used and taken from by America with AR, the interludes, the national anthem and Freedom. With Yaya and WDYLM. 

- The Spaghetti slay

- The Daughter segment 

- The Honey/Pure Honey Bucking

- 2H2H 

- Jolene into Daddy Lessons 

- Thique segment 

- The reinclusion of Ren's tour

 

All have a chance to get iconic as the tour progresses. But then again I might be biased because those were my favorite parts.

The disparity between her Spotify streams and AM needs to be studied. 

I hope it keeps increasing on AM US.

I totally get what you mean and that's what I meant earlier. This is what we mean

 

 

Of course she doesn't need to drop to the ground and do the headbangs, but there's a grit here and a grit that we are used to that's missing in songs like AR for instance. It's too subdued, too "clean" atm

From I'm that girl to Alien Superstar (that was soooo unique and different, i loved how theatrical it was and it felt like something fresh). Heated (bodysuit included), the america has a problem/pure honey bee outfit and the pure/honey performance. I also loved the entire ballad section cause she could improvise and show off her vocals and musicality. Anyways maybe i'll change my mind about some of the performances, this is only the first date (and my first impression)

no cuz literally and I feel she's been stuck in that mold for a while. I personally am a little confused at how she recorded American Requiem - her own Bohemian Rhapsody, and performed it not like Queen but like Spirit... 

 

Also how on earth did she not create a banger choreography moment for Tyrant?? So confusing.

The way Honey flawlessly entered the chat was one of my favorite moments. It was sooo fitting.

I haven't seen the full show yet but I've seen maaany videos and I must say it looks awesome! Not sure if it's better than RWT but time will tell.

 

Imo, she should remove:

• The Star Spangled Banner ()
• Diva
• I'm That Girl
• Before I Let Go

And replace them with:

• Irreplaceable
• Single Ladies
• All Night
• Perfect Duet (I know.. but yeah)

I wonder what songs/section are gonna get cut from the typical setlist. Since FWT she's cut songs along the tour so I wonder which songs won't make it. Just treated myself to the RWT trinity and it kinda gave that. And folks in the comments were saying the same lol

it …. was simply a cute lil way to interpolate one of her several hits into one of the standouts from Ren , and as for expecting her to sing it … that's what yall get for expecting sh!!t !
