You guys can't base the awards on what it looks like to the public.  There aren't four shadowy figures deciding who gets the awards, there are thousands of voting members with their own personal likes, dislikes, and biases. 

 

If more people out of those thousands vote for Billie, she wins.

If you ask ChatGPT what popular artist brings awareness to modern politics, she's the first on the list and it makes me think long and hard into Nicki coke rant territory that there has to be more than mentally ill Barbs smear campaigning against her and fueling it into everyone's algorithms. Especially when it has been back to back nonstop and it has happened to other celebs. It's a lot of talkin goin on.

As someone said, Grammys are not a monolith but thousands of people from different branches and sadly, a LOT of those people are from country and rock genres that still look down on music that's too "produced" and favor musicianship and singer songwriters. Stupid but it is what it is. This is why I think they don't give it to her and they won't give it to Charli either. Anyway, I stopped caring when Rennie lost, **** them.

It is pretty interesting to me that most people that record their reaction to CC loved it on first listen but in a follow up most didnt appear to revisit the album and im trying to figure out why. It's clearly a great album. And it does have high replay value. I just think the vibe in the first half and the last half is so different that no one is playing at front to back. And then of course we have to remember she's been in the game almost 30 years. Every legend eventually falls off. It's normally a steep decline and hers is this weird up and down motion like a stock chart. Her OG R&b fans (like my sister) aren't listening to recent albums because that's not their preference. Plus as folks get older, have kids, get hyper religious, they no longer want to hear spirit of Jezebel music. It makes sense when you think about her original core fan base. 

Anyway this guy surpassed JukeJams for me. He really understands the messages and is so hype without being fake. You can tell he enjoys the music and not lusting for her body (juke).
