As a Day 1 stan, a lot of the deepness of my love for Bey comes from seeing how much she pours into her process. We were inundated with BTS ish that drove that home. And I love it. Like, watching RWT, the BTS ish was almost as engaging (and in places more engaging) than some of the performance parts. 
 

At the same time, looking at where we are in her current product cycle and, dare I say, career cycle too, I'm way more excited by the unexpected and innovation than "more of the same" (which is what another BTS Halftime doc so close to the RWT film) would be. Any doc, tbh. 
 

At the risk of beating a dead horse, on the visual front, the only thing she should be rolling out is whatever film, series, or format she has for the visual component of the three albums. I've never wavered in my belief that it's coming (she's not about to can something she has spent millions on, shot and reshot etc), but from a timeline perspective, attention spans are short and getting shorter. Stretching this all out is getting tedious and I worry the pay off won't be "as" epic as she thinks if driving this into years to come. 

She was doing callbacks in her performance for a reason. And it's insane how people are making sh*t up, and insinuating that "she's remaking these performances cause she's ran out of ideas". Cause quite frankly that's the ONLY THING they can try and come up with. And even THAT doesn't stick. You think Beyonce of ALL people, the same woman that gave us RENAISSANCE can't come up with complete brand new concepts? 
 

There's a reason why she outdoes herself because it's always DIFFERENT lmao! Beyoncé was purposely paying homage to some of her biggest performances (which also happen to be some of the most historical and iconic performances in the history of the music industry). But people lying their a**es saying she's recycling stuff just goes to show WHY they stan who they stan, and why they'll never ever understand why Beyoncé is the best lmaooo! They just continue to prove how tasteless they are and it's fun to see.

She's such a star! I love her through and through

With that said, this was one of her weaker and unmemorable performances. Everything about it was just OKAY. I enjoyed the big Texas finish, I actually thought that would be where the performance would kick it up a notch, but it was the end.

Mine is still II hands to god. But leviis is second. LJ give stand up because what a missed opportunity. And it's clear it was a lack of punch because all of Posts singles and collabs released went top 10

Yup. The performance has a lot of replay value and has given the album a new lease of life for me. & the fact that we have something to look forward to on a specific date is promising. Whatever it is, be it an album, a tour or a visual, it's just good to know there's something on the horizon.

I was thinking earlier that Renaissance might have performed exactly like CC or even worse without Cuff It going viral by chance and the tour. 

Edit : maybe not since Alien Superstar was showing signs of turning into a big hit in the beginning. 

 

Still people acting like CC is dead because all the songs are universally hated contrary to Renaissance is weird.

Yes because I miss Beyonce live performances. I only wish yaya was a bit longer and I'm not going to harp on the songs I think should have been on the setlist (hopefully Grammys) but overall I'm so happy as a fan that she did this! 

I hope CC will get the recognition it deserves! I love Rennie but CC for me is just on another level. There are so many layers to this album. The performance was great and I wish only more people will hear it

there's no way Super Bowl becomes a Netflix exclusive, though. not in the next couple years.

If it's a tour announcement indeed then i think it's going to be the same ole NA-EU expedition, at least at the beginning... otherwise Brazil would be exploding with speculations already. I know about NDA things but people here just can't hold their tongue/fingers! We would have some solid hints popping already.
