Just watched this on Netflix and had a smile on my face half the time, she really put on a spectacular show and she genuinely looked so happy  Some of you still talking about Ren visuals like we're not one year into a whole new era..

MTE. this whole thing makes no sense, no matter what it ends up being, the announcement's lacking a bit of transparency and is kinda… pointless for now since we don't actually have any clue what it could be

2013 she was dancing like rent was due, and singing live because of the inauguration mess, but the outfits and hair could've been better

And let's be honest, is anyone really excited to watch a THE video almost a year after? Yeah right we're gonna see it and forget in the next day. The visual alberm thing don't need to be done everytime btw, at this point only hardcore fans will care enough to sit thru the whole thing.. so it makes more sense to wait until the 3 acts are done so she can do release everything at once and doing something innovative - I don't know any big artist that made a longform video connecting multiple eras. It's going to cover like 4 years of her career, think of it.

Just because we've seen multiple fits / photoshoots doesn't mean they all have corresponding videos. Maybe we've been gaslighting ourselves into thinking there are visuals to be had.

The updated version of the performance is much better than the broadcast version. I was amazed by it anyway. However, I do believe this isn't as iconic as some of the previous Beyoncé performances. It may be better because it came when she was more experienced and established, but I feel that many of her previous performances had bigger effects cause they were shocking cause they were done in a way that hasn't been done before

Those other performances were never centered to a single album like this one. Esp an album as dense and different as CC. Which is what makes its even more impressive that she executed it brilliantly.

2013 halftime show wadrobe & makeup was atrocious and outside of that intro and destiny child reunion…..well let's say she's not the 1 or the 2 in my ranking

I can see certain events heading to Netflix but I don't see the Super Bowl leaving network tv anytime soon.

VMAs 2014 and 2016 were centered around albums? 

 

VMAs 2014 was even teased with "history will bey made" because it was unimaginable before that someone performs a full album in 15 minutes. I'm not saying that performance was better than any that came after, it's just that it was game-changing. It's something that this halftime didn't have for me. It was more perfect in every sense, but I don't think it will be more iconic
