  1. Still ridiculous, but it's not so heinous
  2. What a song! Obviously,
  3. And just like that, I'm convinced. She's just gained a new fan. Struggle with her albums a bit, hoping this next one will be stronger and 'fuller' like this song. The Cure sounds confident, I fux with it
  4. I quite like Ari and enjoy her albums, but some of her deeper cuts are really weak and are literal filler. I'm very surprised by all this praise for her deep cuts. ES for instance has a few highs and very mid songs. It's always been the same since her debut, it has caused me to delete some of the songs and reduce the albums to an EP Rih's album cuts are pretty strong, hence we see how the public reacts when they hear for the first time, see Loveeee Song, Woo, Breaking Dishes and the brief popularity of Mother Mary and Nobody's Business. This is not a competition IMO and I expect that the more the public discovers the deeper cuts the more that they will surge on the charts because of their quality. Songs like The Last Song you or Firebomb are top tier songs and could shine when given exposure
  5. Good for Katy! The world has been so weird to her for a while now I hope she realizes something and steps up her current music. She should really COOK for her next album
  6. California may as well Can't believe Biden allowed this to happen
  7. I love it then, I love it still now And the one I return to most often now
  8. Very surprising turn from Harry Loved those low notes at the BRITS Electronic dance is my forte, this one sounds euphoric and catchy. Looking forward to the album
  9. As a fan, I think this about some of their music
  10. Agreed It's nothing more than a tool It crosses into slop when not used sparingly
  11. When you think about it, 60m streams for Taylor vs 30m for Rihanna is actually insane When you put into context; Taylor is doing amazing there is no denying , and Rihanna is just on another level
  12. This is very much the truth She never let her albums breathe , after LOUD I expected a break to let it continue to smash, but Talk That Talk followed quickly and We Found Love took over. Her albums and tours could have benefited more from longer breaks. It's no wonder they are being recognized now, because a lot of people are hearing them (and the excellent deep cuts) for the first time. I actually think her monthly listeners record on Spotify makes more sense when looked at in this way, the hits boost it but a lot of people are genuinely discovering the older albums and sticking as new fans
  13. What…the hell? Way subvert
  14. Let me listen will revert
  15. There was a point where I just didn't like it very much But now I see it and it's impact
  16. I get that, and it's terrible what she did But homophobes can eat it because this is just humanity. It's something some people do and it's not just about the queers
  17. List leans very 80s, 90s instantly tells you about who put it together
  18. Yeah so all of these albums are well remembered and will go diamond or have already with that said GGGB, TDTCC & TFM in that order, I truly don't understand how Alejandro smashed so hard
  19. Wasn't GGGB recently in the top 50 on BB200, like three weeks ago?
  20. Songs on those albums are still weaker than songs on Unapologetic or Rated R for instance, and if you think about it those two albums were ANTI before it was released
  21. As some who thoroughly enjoys both artists, it's definitely and has always been Rihanna. Some of you here are discarding Rihanna'a music because of the creative process, but in the end what matters is the output and she outdoes Gaga Gaga's album tracks hit high highs and then hit low lows, albums like Joanne and Chromatica have very mid album cuts which even her other fans admit they don't like much
