    Besides the delicious outro vocals, I'm on the fence about how the song translates live musically. It felt a bit 2D sonically (not the performance). 

     

    By contrast, the horns gave Jolene a fuller feel and elevated it a lot. 

     

    Texas isn't my fave Bey song, but she usally has a knack for making "those" tracks pop (Top Off etc), but Texas felt relatively untouched compared to the studio version IMO.

    I just watched it in full for the second time on Netflix (first was live and low quality tbh) 

     

    wow… no one is seeing her. Period, point blank. We need to stop arguing with anybody that questions her talent or her artistry or her vocals or her presence. That was a masterclass of a performance should be. Top to bottom perfect excellence. Easily one of her top 10 best performances ever. Arguably top 5 of the best she's looked in the past 14 years performing aesthetically speaking. What can't she do? These tour tickets will be purchased even if I have to take out a loan idgaf!

    Yeah I love those outro vocals especially :jonny5: I'll never not be able to hear that in my head now whenever I listen to the song. The instrumentation during the Pony Up section also really brings it to life I thought.

     

    Agree with Jolene too.

     

    Tbh there's not many songs in Bey's discography that doesn't sound even better live. That's just the type of artist she is.

    Do Levii's Jeans haters still exist after the performance? Easily the highlight to me and I'm happy she brought out Post cause the song just doesn't work without their amazing chemistry.

    Like I am glad she is going on tour and all but what about the visuals?

    With a new tour coming up, it makes no sense for Beyonce to "retire" or "take a break".

     

    Why should she?

     

    And why should she not tour this year? So what if she toured in 2023?

    I really hope she comes to my country (Ireland) on this round if the tour is happening, and hopefully there is after she gave us the hymn that is Riiverdance.

    I'd strongly consider travelling for the queen like I did for Renaissance but I'd love to spend my full budget on the tour / merch.

    I also would love it for the fans outside of North America and Europe if she visited more continents.

     

    Alas it's exciting - her energy in the performance gave "I'm ready for more performing"
