It's really hard for me to compare them.

 

2013 had incredible energy, vocals and set list, but I think that the sets and colours / outfits could have evolved a lot more throughout the performance.

2016 per minute is the best for me because of how good Formation is, the incredible choreo, breakdown with Bruno and the political message. however it is much shorter than the others so impossible to compare.

2024 had great energy too and I loved how she used the entire field as the stage - the formations and visuals in all were incredible. the cowboy carter album is fantastic so the set list is too by default. the introduction i don't love as much but it worked in theory.

2013>2024>2016, it's really easy actually

The point is the 2016 VMA performance of the Limonchella medley is one of her best performances ever.

 

 

Beyoncé Bowl is superior to VMA 2014 and 2016 y'all are on CRACK to think otherwise. 

The "she rehased coachella" takes are so weird cause like....shouldn't she? it was a memorable, iconic performance and the concept was great. If anyting, she should've taken homecoming on the road instead of the tragic OTR II. Iconic artists know how to keep using similar concepts that work. It's how you build a recognizable brand. I was personally thrilled that the performance had a coachella vibe. it worked with the setting and the music

She was referencing herself in that performance. From the Houston rodeo on the horse, to Beychella, to the SB 2016 on the field, to SB 2013 with her walk in Riverdance, to Dubai levitating and the new riff at the end. Like was that not the point?

YES! She was doing more live singing and the dancing was more individualized. 2024 show was phenomenal. I think she lips more now because it is way too risky to sing live and move the way she does. She is so big now that she can not risk things such as doing a 12+ minute performance, where she is on a horse, dancing, running, being carried and lifted in the air. And then proceeding to rise up on a levitating stage and perform rigorous vocal runs. It would just be way too risky for her to sing all of that live. But it definitely does not mean she does not have less vocal ability now. She can still do everything vocally she used to do, just not necessarily in the same keys. 

American requiem would have taken me

out though. She is saving it for the tour. Best song on CC. Should have been released to alternative radio stations or overseas. Shame

I actually wished she would've done a Coachella like concept if she ever did another halftime. So my wish came true.

That was all over facebook as well "Beyonce causes outrage using a banned hand signal in her performance". For once this actually backfired and the comments were supportive. If there is one thing the right wings hate more than Beyoncé it is woke culture.

This might be a hot take, but I really dont need a beyoncebowl bts documentary. That's so unexciting to me. I love her other bts stuff but like, I'd so much rather some sort of documentary about cowboy carter the album itself.

Like where's the fun in all of that? It's fun not to always know the inner-workings/mechanics of things like this. The mystery of it all is what makes it that much more amazing.

 

I want VISUALS, TOUR, NEW MUSIC.
