Don't like Taste, but love the music video. I somewhat enjoy DWAS, but find the music video lackluster. Not sure what "top" you're referring to as DWAS has already topped Apple Music and Spotify Global and US. But if you're referring to Hot 100, I believe Taste should get it or be close to it this week.

It's like the 3/4 mark of September, right before October before she starts rehearsing for the tour. I'm making some ambitious assumptions the album will be out early October but will be announced along with the cover, title, and tracklist somewhere in September

Her older catalogue (2008 - 2018) is arguably one of the best runs for a female emcee. If you grew up with her like me (unstanned btw), the nostalgia is very strong. She somewhat was always very forward with her personality, making it difficult to see how problematic it was once she started creating rifts with her peers. Many of her current stans choose to see her in a specific light, not objectively. Her upbringing is also very empowering for many people, so I can see why it's difficult for people to stop treating her as their idol.

Right? I haven't even heard the Girlfriend snippet and now I'm hearing something about Garden of Even, Abracadabra, etc. Maybe I'll just stop watching her every move and seeing what the stans say, it's so much more peaceful being ignorant and finding out about music when it comes out

Even if this was true, I'm not going to take DWAS' success for granted. I really doubt she'd be able to replicate its success in a short period of time, especially when DWAS is still growing. It might be eggs on our faces if the lead single underperforms because the world is still hooked on DWAS
