It’s the care free, rated G bop that was perfect for her to use after being so sexually explicit and/or politically polarizing over the last two eras. The album cover says it all, the album will likely be explicit and sexually liberating, yet respectable, BMS was meant to lure people in for the time being as a means to get people comfortable with the idea of a woman at her age still having it without immediately shoving her raunchy self on the public too soon (me thinks)

Could be seeing how 2/3 of the album has the tag "explicit" next to it

To me, the most anticipated part about ALL of this is the tour. The fact House/Electronic music will be the centerpiece and shes most likely going to adjust her Hits to that Sound + the visuals such a tour could bring to the album (think screens, lightings that are crazy like those of amazing DJ Sets + stagings).

Still curious if RuPaul makes any appearance on Renaissance, be it a song feature or video cameo. 
 

for the girlies who don’t watch drag race, in the last year we suddenly got like 5 Beyoncé lip syncs after not having anything but DC lip syncs for years. And Tina appeared as a guest judge as well on one of the seasons in the last year.  Just feels like a potential there could have been some elbows rubbed recently between the two teams and it has me thinking Ru could be on the project somehow, if not a few of the Drag Race queens potentially making some cameos in the albums (potential) videos.  I could absolutely see Bey booking Shangela, especially after she performed a tribute to Bey literally in front of her at that GLAAD ceremony.

They are definitely gearing up for a "1000 Nights of Beyonce" and a "Beyonce Rusical". That much is clear as day.

I lowkey can see Renaissance being a broadway show before or after the tour.

Yeah I could see both, but why the sudden clearance for so much Bey?  Idk I think the road runs both ways and so much Bey content on DR might mean some Ru content in a Bey project as well, considering in just the last year she cleared some of her music for DR finally and Mama Tina went on the show.  Orrrrr maybe I’m connecting dots more than they’re intended. 

The amount of Explicit tracks still intrigues me. And if they stay the same, this will be her first album that opens with an explicit track. She isn’t wasting any time this time

That’s because theyve run out of big name gay icons. Ru and Michelle don’t really like her that much

The fact this is her most explicit album. 

She definitely booked some drag queens for the MV. The song is supposed to pay tribute to NYC ball culture after all.
