There's just something about CC that feels timeless. REN is that girl and can't be denied but it's a classic dance album that dance fans and pop fans and gays will come back to forever. It just has a limited appeal that was stretched incredibly far by Beyoncés artistry. 
 

CC on the other hand has a much more general appeal with an amazing message, and music that can sway country fans and pop fans and rock fans and dance fans and r&b fans to listen to other genres that can effortlessly coexist. It's a freaking masterpiece.

it's the fact that much of it was started in 2019 and it STILL sounds fresh and/or beyond the need of sounding fresh.

 

how many other pop eras can we think of that could wait ~5 years until being released and NOT sound dated or of the time they were created.

 

and even the fact that BLACKBIIRD uses the exact same instrumental that was used in the 1960s but you wouldn't even know that unless you were familiar with the original. She really made something classic.
