Is anyone else thrown off by background vocalists on new Beyonce songs? She always is her own choir. For example Riverdance the corny backing vocalists shouting "DANCE!” or the terrible background vocals in AMEN

They sound like the typical cheerleader-y sh** Taylor Swift does on 90% of her songs  Glad it's just Riiverdance and Buckiin' lol.

Fatima did an interview and said there were conversations around the choreo that went along the lines of you've proven everything you have to prove. Don't injure yourself and up like Prince and Michael on pain meds because you abused your body when you shouldn't anymore.

 

I don't think it was necessarily the injury. The hard choreo just isn't coming back and wisely so.

Yeah I wonder what made her choose to include them. I think this is also why I don't care for XO. Bey can do her own background it's empty and weird if someone else does it.

I seen it too. I think she said Prince had 2 hip replacements, it's really not worth that.
