I don't care about streams but I hope she eventually releases an edit of it. I like to be able to watch a visual that doesn't cut up the audio

what do we know about her videos:

- one of the two songs with Honey Dijon has a video 

- Jonas Akerlund has directed one (i dont see him directing the video for Break My Soul)

- We saw her team shut down a street in LA, although that could be for the Jonas video

so i feel like we have 2 videos, 3 if there’s one for Break My Soul

This is one of my favorite albums and songs from the last few years and I've been hoping and praying Bey does something like this. Her vocals on these types of songs are going to be heavenly

I really had wished that the 6 weeks leading to the album's release would be packed : something new every week or half week to keep a strong momentum leading to the album. So far, it's been really quiet.

Also I love the idea of a 10 minute video. Hope it’s true.

but I HATE the idea of BMS as a promo single. This is a lead single. It’sa great pop song and it’s doing well so far. I feel like promo singles are just code for flops. It’s weak imo. I always respected how Bey never backtracked on RTW even though everybody hated it. She just performed  it harder, and I respected her so much for that. A real G. One of the main reasons I stan.

Isn’t this still possible? I’ve been assuming we’d get something every Tuesday and Friday leading up to the release. We got a lot last Tuesday and the vinyls on Friday. There’s nothing to suggest that this won’t keep happening or am I missing something?

Well they've been getting money, that's for sure.

I wasn't clear, I meant content, something that builds the excitement : the art cover of the limited vinyl, the art cover of the standard vinyl, the video of BMS, some Tik Tok tease, the art over of the album, a promo single for the album and then a performance of both on the release's week.

Of course, in between making us buy stuff : the album on ITunes, the CDs, the vinyls etc.

I wouldnt like a 10 min long Video. Again, this should be her reintroduction as a commercial force. A "normal" video would be great!

 

What I would love tho is in case there is a sort of visual album coming that she does like a miniseries, where each episode contains 4 MVs alltogether which then could take up more time than the actual songs. That would also work because u could make 4 episode with 4 songs each. 

 

But alas, I think we should go back to just hoping that there is EVEN an MV coming for BMS...

Yes, clearly that's what they believe. 

But for an artist whose last album was 6 years ago idk. Time will tell anyway. 

We would already be fortunate if there's indeed a video and it drops before the album.
