Just went on my daily jog while listening to this, when I tell you the cues had me STRESSED. I’m singing and panting while I run, I missed my cue, I had to cuss out the imaginary crew backstage for sabotaging me after the performance finished

The way I would boycott watching Wendy when she'd shade Beyonce only to tune back in a week later. She pissed me off so much but she was so good at her job. I think the final tacky thing she said was that Beyonce needs auto tune. The RAGE I felt at the sheep audience clapping along to that dumb comment. But every time after that she praised her as the best performer dead or alive (although I felt like this was a set up) and other compliments. 

Did yall actually watch the whole Sherri show? The costumes and set looked so real. That was the best Beyoncé tribute we will ever get. Kevin Aviance was there, Reneigh’s twin sister made an appearance at the end, it was SO well done. The Bee costume omg. I side eyed Sherri when she defended Rihanna when someone said “she’s no Beyoncé on stage” but she’s back in my good graces .

It's disheartening in a way, but mostly because like... I'm here to talk, and talk a lot about things I love, not to give shady one sentence answers that put down whatever opponent is set in front of my fave.

 

anyway doesn't happen a lot but just did so just venting a bit to my home base

I could have seen it do well around the time of 444. Maybe as a double-project, as you know Jay is okay with drawing on smart tactics to sel). But after BeyChella...we wanted solo Bey. 

 

Note how no one really had much of an issue with OTRI. I kinda don't recall too much disdain for the OTRII announcement either (for those who will say it's the cheating confirmation that soured the Bey/Jay thing come EIL). I even remember a lot of excitement around the early reports of a possible collab album after the smasha that was Drunk In Love back in 2014.

 

It's more a case of purposefully driving against the grain of what people want from you at that specific time is unlikely to yield the results needed.

 

Plus, they were still trying to push Tidal up a hill. I often wonder if EIL would have done better had it been available everywhere from the get-go). Launch hype is everything and they immediately soured theirs when people realized they'd have to do ANOTHER trial of Tidal (before they rush-released it on other platforms).

After Beychella everyone was appreciating her again as a (solo) performer and musician and was hyped for new (SOLO) music and performances. Her forcing the spotlight back onto her husband and marriage not even a year later felt extremely disrespectful.

You're one of the most well spoken and articulate users on this forum if not the most. 
 

The fact that a big chunk of the user base here lacks the intellectual capacity and attention span to comprehend more than two full sentences put together, let alone engage in similar manner should not make you feel any type of way. It's a poor reflection of them, not of you. 

Please know that there are many of us that very much enjoy and appreciate your posts and your contribution on here.
