  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Random thought: the way she turned Energy - which was just a glorified interlude to some - into to a moment during the Renaissance World Tour was the work of a legend.

And she also demonstrated to everyone that both Cozy and Move are easily among the many highlights of the album.

I wouldnt say Cozy and Move are highlights within the album, however she demonstrated that she is indeed the queen of elevation in terms of live arrangements. Cozy and Move both EAT live an she certainly did THAT :jonny:

Those are the side-projects she should have kept doing too. In between Eras, instead of just the rapping songs, a song with an artist from another continent like during B'Day : Alejandro Sanz and Shakira, her collab with legend french rap during DIL. Some more European DJs like Runnin'. I would have loved a collaboration with Daft Punk. It would have been incredible.

With side projects, I would have loved if she explored more outside of US music scene. I love TG for that too.

But yes, she could have made fire with some Euro DJ, not Guetta though, he's too hit and miss. And that would have also helped with some fabulous remixes of her RnB songs like Whitney did. It's Not Right and My Love Is Your Love had incredible dance remixes that smashed in Europe.

I completely agree, I think I have to constantly remind myself that Bey is in LOVE with R&B at its core, I've been deep diving into their (DC + Bey/Kelly) interviews lately to see some things I may have missed and recently I found out Matthew himself had a complete plan to launch Kelly internationally as a star and it almost worked but she was so against it at the time without seeing the vision.

Also, we give Bey crap, but she has done (at least back then) a TON of collabs and worked with people, I do wish a lot more of them were pop focused though, it was a missed opp. I feel like because her and Pharrell were so close the Daft Punk moment should've happened.

Mi Gente was genius, Runnin was smart, and Perfect was also smart.

Bey would've demolished something like Clarity or TIWYCF.

Cozy is absolutely an highlight on the album. It was an instant love. :biblio: It was and has been a constant staple and my love has grown even stronger with the live performance.

Move was definitely helped by its live performance. I've always liked it but now I really look forward to it.

i will never forgive her for cutting out the best part of MOVE during the tour

I would like her to get back in her features bag. But:
a) no DJ Khaled

b) no "I am only singing a verse or chorus, go ahead and snatch a 1B streamed hit and don't credit me"

c) i’m on one of my most loved & collabs ever but i only do uncredited backing vocals towards the end of the song

Me and this lady behind me sang “give me a little fi-yah” at the same time and gave each other the most gleeful, yet disappointed look ever. Beyoncé still found a way to eat it up though :katie2:

A Bey interview doesn’t excite me anymore. She holds back too much, way too filtered, and talks in that damn monotone uninterested voice. I’d rather a documentary where she spills tea. That perfume must be flopping hard for her to be doin all this.

Did I miss something where did this interview rumor come from? Are we inventing hallucinations in our head again?

Colbert is daddy af but I'm not sure he's the right one to interview her. No one on late night is.

So when will this alleged interview be confirmed? :coffee2:

in 5 or 6 hours unless the announcement leaks. All signs point to her but watch it be some movie star. Then again movie stars are on strike so we are back to Bey.

I’m happy she’s doing Colbert and not Gayle or Oprah. She needs to promote outside of her niche. Besides, her interview will be all over every outlet.

Yvette worked like she was about to be evicted :clap3:

I want to rewatch the interludes. What are some good YT videos that show them? In high quality and as close to the center as possible. I know a few of you have your go-to versions. I have my own video of the first interlude at Stockholm but my phone died halfway through that show, and I never filmed anything at my subsequent shows.

They announced a new late night yesterday called After Midnight presented by Taylor Tomlinson. Colbert has tweeted about it being "late night (Taylor's Version)", the interview is on the 13th, and announced on 11/2 (there's a whole theory about Taylor's albums coming every 112 days)... I'd be VERY surprised if this turned out to be Bey.
