Actually not particularly impressed by the new KYT News reel thing. 
 

On the up side, it looks creative and pretty well thought out and likely has been in the plans for a while. 
 

But, as of right now, the content itself isn’t particularly interesting. The intervals between posts are also kinda meh.

 

Speaking this cautiously, as we don’t know what they have in the cannon.

 

But, if I were them, I’d literally use it to hype (actual) ish up. Like, they shoulda launched it before the trailer came out and teased that something was coming. It - much like how “breaking news” works in real life - would have gagged everyone. She’d have got brownie points for approaching promo (lol) differently.
 

Thereafter, use it to drive home the dress code for all the screenings. That lil trick worked amazingly for Bey and generated even more buzz around the RWT. Actively creating a similar setup for the film is a savvy way driving ticket sales as the girls will literally buy the fashions to stunt on the gram at theaters. Think the buzz around the original Black Panther. Everyone I know was in their dashiki’s and native wear all over socials for the entire time the film

was in theaters. This news thing can easily help manifest something similar. 
 

Also, format is so suited to TikTok and probably would give Bey’s page something worthwhile. Of course, it’s not up there lol.

Parkwood slowly promoting things up until the movie premiere is smart. I dont care what anyone says.  Ivy Park noir, The perfume, the promotion for the film, the two big premieres LA and London planned. 

 

They are finally waking up and doing smart things on time. Hope they keep that same energy for Act II.

Speaking of tour rankings, I want to watch all of hers+the big festival performances.

 

Would y’all say Rock in Rio is a must watch or is it practically identical to MCSWT? If so, then should I watch Rock in Rio instead (cause I know that’s professionally recorded vs. the fan edited movie for MCSWT)?

Is anyone else gagged that Ivy Park Noir did pretty well. I noticed that most of it sold out. It probably had to do with it being the last drop with Adidas plus it actually being stylish and wearable.

RIO is worth it for Crazy In Love alone, it’s a great rendition and over all it’s good but kinda MCSWT 2.0 but less good (plus the bob was ) 

 

just watch the HBX X10 Setitled performances mixed with some fanmade edits of MCSWT and you’ll be good

Perhaps it's also due to the colourlessness of the new film adding nothing to any musical scene, but also it feels like Beyoncé was in her Perfect (Remix) vocal bag when recording this song...that overly soft half-whispered seriousness which I don't really favour from her vocals. It seems she's found a sweet spot between that and her all-out-sanging on RWT with her approach to Dangerously in Love, and the result is much more pleasing and emotive.

I'm not surprised. Ivy Park was doing well for a while until it wasn't anymore and i suspect a lot of weird stuff was happening  between Adidas and Parkwood before  they ended that partnership. Beyoncé is not Kanye though. She is not going to social media to drag Adidas and sabotage her brand. She will  quietly end the partnership and reset her brand on her own after that. I cant wait to see what she does next with Ivy Park. I want her to go all the way high fashion with it.

for me personally my ivy park trinity is: rodeo > noir > heart

 

interesting but wearable silhouettes, impactful textile and color choices, plus they weren’t UGLY like most of the other collections

Yes, she sounded lovely. She sounds lovely on Daddy too. I just I don't prefer that Perfect Duet style approach she took.

 

This is why I think you must be joking, because if anyone here is fake Hive, it's not me.

 

I'm like... the only Be Alive defender in this entire base and that song is 10x more "Beyoncé" than Can You Feel The Love Tonight ever will be.

scrolling through and lowkey kicking myself for not copping anything  I stopped checking for Ivy Park after that fugly summer collection she did but some of the Ivy Park Noir pieces are really nice. Surprised they didn't do a black hoodie though.

they did! sold out on adidas website it looks like, but it’s popping up on StockX and probably other sites

Anyway Beyoncé would eat Circle of Life... I know her character didn't sing that but if we ever get a The Lion King medley in some sort of later-career Dubai-esque-santized concert I just know she'd attack that song in all the right aways.
