We don't have anything official. It's all conjecture based on the timing and the disco balls everywhere.

 

Of course, there are people in Paris wealthy enough to do their own afterparty so it may have nothing to do with her... but they love Paris so I wouldn't be surprised if she did have one.

Tina Turner has been a bigger influence on Beyoncé than someone like Mariah Carey. Hence why NOBODY else could sing I Care, Don't Hurt Yourself and The Beautiful Ones as well as Bey.

 

Hearing Beyoncé on a Hard-Rock/Metal record has always been one of my the biggest wishes.

it's based on the weighted inverted point system Billboard uses for their GOAT lists. it essentially overvalues weeks spent at #1, #2, Top 10 and the multipliers make it so that older hits (from when chart runs used to be much shorter on average) aren't disadvantaged.

 

that's why you get Baby Boy over Crazy in Love (more weeks at #1, charted for longer) or Break My Soul over Cuff It (higher peak, double the weeks in the Top 10).

 

I agree, the formula isn't great.
