Tina had a long life, many ups and downs, but she always had such a bright spirit. Without her there’d be no Beyoncé as we know her. We’re definitely getting a tribute. She may even bring back Halo for it the way she did for MJ. 

This will bring “Halo” back probably

 

And ”I Care” is b/c Tina Turner was…rock/soul legend.

I’ve always seen Tina as Bey’s biggest inspiration. That’s mother. 

Tina had just mentioned Beyonce in one of her last interviews. She was talking about artists she was currently listening to.

Tina spirit lives and breathes in Beyonce. Shes her definite heiress. Ugh, really gutted about having to read that Tina has passed away.

I think this next date need not be somber in tone. It can be an even bigger celebration. It's already a show about liberation. And now everyone can celebrate this liberated woman, who brought only joy and music and talent and strength to people's lives. For decades, her whole life really. Bey loves a ballad moment but I hope a little bit of the Paris date is a real party for Tina.

Oooh, and this made me tear up! I want this legacy to live on, black women doing stadiums around the globe is so rare!

 

 

Not another massive legend going out every time Bey goes on tour. 

 

MJ, Prince, Aretha, Tina. They’re all leaving us and soon there just won’t be many legends left. These names hold power.

Paris is the biggest single show on the whole tour, isn't it? They clearly have something planned for it and I don't think they'll scrap it. I think she'll even say say something about "Let's celebrate Tina tonight."

 

Prince died right before FWT but that show was much more somber in tone in general than RWT is. 

 

I know she's absolutely gutted right now.

Listening to The Best and imagining Bey singing this particular one in Paris and the entire stadium chanting with her.. shaken to the core at the thought of it
