  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I honestly feel it would be way better if she got rid of all of her dancers and just did what she did in the first act and during Heated. Those were the best moments in my opinion.

She did that :clap3: The best part

I'm not sure she was at Club Renaissance enough for what I paid tbh but this is opening night. OTRII looked honestly pretty bad night one and by the time it got to the states it was amazing. RWT started out great and just has some kinks to be worked out

hopefully whatever is ailing her will be better by then too

Y'all, that was just amazing

I'm so excited, probably my fave tour of hers

looks like its a lot of fun.

kind of odd to be disappointed when you weren't even there but to each their own :toofunny3:

And the reason is she is injured... Something is obviously wrong with her foot or knee we are not sure.

Yeah I'm fully aware, but even taking her out of the equation, I expected more to cover for it. Think of that voguing moment at the end of Pure/Honey, but throughout the entire show.

Still an enjoyable show, but I'm kinda sad that I can't get to experience Beyoncé at the top of her game for this tour (not considering vocals, of course) because I love this album so much and I wish she could perform it in the way I know she is (was?) able to do.

Well you don't have to attend.

If she made the voguing part all the time throughout her show it would become tired... The dancers came at the right time and SLAAAAYED in my opinion.

I think we forget that she is only human at the end of the day and she is over 40, we have to forget the old Beyoncé, she ain't coming back.

I won’t judge until my date, but for now, RWT remains unbothered.

It’s the weirdest thing to see Beyonce dodging choreo, it will take a lot of getting used to. I was getting Circus tour flashbacks, where we had to adapt to a new level of performing from Britney.

So imagine I feel love mixed with happy face by destiny’s child as an interlude and then summer renaissance into halo but rearranged to be a disco song and then break my soul as the encore and she rides reneigh like flying around the stadium as the closer with a choir singing with her for the whole closing sequence

I manifested this I’ve been talking about her flying around the stadium on Reneigh since last year btw

some of y’all are acting as if she was standing still for three hours :rip:

Totally don't blame her if her leg/feet is injured. No one can help that. But then, I think she should up the arm choreo. :chick1: And I say that lovingly. Some more movement, even if just upper body, would infuse more energy into the songs like she used to have. The tradeoff would be vocals, cause the diaphragm might be impacted. But, then I would take more lipsyncing/pre-recorded vocals in exchange.

I just think if she's not going to give "Tina Turner" style then she should lean all the way into "Madonna" style. All love, no shade. Just trying to see how she can raise the caliber again while considering the limitations.

OMG imagine if she takes a note out of Tay's playbook and does surprise songs for each show but instead of it being an acoustic/piano moment like Taylor does, Bey makes it a vocal moment :jonnycat: The GEMS we would get to hear that she hasn't done since release (or ever). Listen in 2023 :jonnycat: Flaws and All in 2023 :jonnycat: Smash Into You in 2023 :jonnycat:

Not me predicting the opening set...

Not me predicting a Flaws and All performance

zach-campbell-zachary-campbell.gif

Pros:

-Love how vocal heavy this is

-the production levels are INSANE and her best

-most of the setlist is great

-merch is great and will make me broke

Cons:

-Some of these outfits were a choice...

-flaws and all (PLEASE replace with Irreplaceable)

-some of the mixes where you think she's transitioning to a new song but she's just using the instrumental (Sweet dreams being used briefly for alien superstar, freakum dress lyrics but it goes back to Before I Let Go)

-not a whole lot going on in club renaissance

-choreography (ignoring the fact she's clearly injured, the dancers themselves didnt really give the energy the songs needed, like AHAP)

Overall a really great show and I can't wait to see it in london!

I NEED people to start uploading the interludes because one is particular was basically a trailer for the visuals :duca:

Never been a Flaws and All kind of person but if it's a package deal with DIL I'll take it, definitely felt like the first songs were dedicated to the fans. So grateful to still have real singers filling up stadiums with real vocals in the year of 2023

The funny thing is, the show was perfectly FINE for ANY popstar. I've watched Chromatica, Future Nostalgia, and Eras tours and it's right in line.:dies:

But then you start comparing it to Bey's own past performances specifically... and it's easy to get "disappointed". But let's be real, she killed it. It's a matter of perspective. Beychella and FWT were already pushing the upper bounds of greatness.  :gaydonnacat1:

No like, not the same thing throughout, but the vibe of that portion was immaculate and imagined the whole thing would feel like that.

But yeah, you're absolutely right. At the end of the day, I'm sure that seeing her live will a completely different (and most likely better) experience than what we've seen through shaky Instagram lives.

OFFTOPIC:

Ajay change the title to "first listen" lol well if that wasn't obvious

It’s her foot. The dancing and energy were not giving like it should had.

She was dancing like her life depended on it on the OTW tour just a few years back.

Everything else was AMAZING, the stage, productions,VOCALLSSSSS and she looked soooooo ******* good. I wish we had that BEYONCÉ that performed DEJA VU at the Bet award on that stage. Maybe her age is really hitting ha and her joints just aren’t that flexible anymore but TINA was a hag n she was GIVINGGGGGG every bunt until her last show
