AR glasses (not VR) incorporated into a tour would be revolutionary though. You get much more a visual enhancement, but it’s like such an e-waste if they’re disposable… much worse than the wristbands they hand out that lights up.  

 

That could be something in like 20-30 years when everyone owns an Apple/Android one.

Watching Rihanna be so down to earth and full of light while giving interviews for the Met was so satisfying. It just makes the utter silence and distance from Beyoncé all the more upsetting knowing she too could have been there following the theme to a T. (At least we get albums/tours though)

Infinitely prefer Bey as an artist, but there's a reason Rihanna is like the most beloved celebrity of our time. But Bey doesn't wanna be someone you wanna hang out with.  She's crafting the very opposite image.

I also think Rih is beloved because she's a bit of a pick me *****, often messy but rarely divisive, that "not like the other girls" coolness mixed in with her extreme beauty and fetishized "exotic" looks.

 

I say this as someone who likes her, by the way. But it speaks volumes that the first (and maybe only) time she has done anything radical was coming up with 50 shades of Fenty foundation.

The only thing on her mind is selling makeup and being rich and knocked up. Beyoncé is making music, planning a 3-album era, putting together a world tour, and probably going through the most challenging rehearsals and body conditioning of her life. I wouldn't make time to give interviews for the sole purpose of pleasing catty fans either. Her plate is full.

 

Or I suppose you could trade it all for a met gala appearance and she can keep you all waiting for new music. It's 7 years and counting for the Navy.

I’m sorry, but she has been disrespectful to her fans. Yes, she’s a great entertainer, yes she doesn’t owe anyone anything, but still….she can’t act surprised once the GP stops caring, and they’re pretty close to doing just that.

She's selling out stadiums all around the world, I don't think she cares to compete with people who are "GP faves" but can't do a fraction of what she's able to do.

I mean I agree, but like just seeing a bit of her personality while showing out can be so refreshing, especially after such a long dry spell of little to know engagement with her fans at all this “era”

Like the way she was FEELING herself at the 2015 met gala, showing us a bit of her personality without saying much was just enough.
