Ive criticized Beyonce a lot for her reclusiveness but when you think about it, she deserves to choose how she wants to approach her career.  Esp now.

Visuals are part of the BEYONCE FAN experience and them coming out a YEAR after the era is basically dead and gone takes away from it. At least build excitement prior to the tour starting. And I didn't say anything about performing in public, just that LIVE performing is what she wanted to be known as. 

 

She shows up to the grammys who treat her like crap because she still wants that recognition, she shows up to the OSCARS because she still wants the recognition. Stop trying to gaslight people into thinking she's only reclusive for her career.

I don’t blame her tho. If I were 5+ albums in, a known performer with over 10 years in the industry … what else is there left for me to prove? I’d just drop my album, hope for a hit to define the era, then tour (thats where the real $$$ comes from anyway).

Baby I been a Beyonce fan since DC.  She has always called herself reserved, always stated she was going to step back at some point, has always been private.  Read the quotes from earlier in this thread.  Straight from the horses mouth.

 

This isnt some act to appear aloof.  Beyonce doesnt want it.

I mean, I don't mind if it's not a dance heavy tour. Those intense dance breaks were great, they had their moment and definitely fit with the Formation concept (&Homecoming) but I will not be missing them if they're gone. Actually I'd much prefer simpler but very effective routines ala Naughty Girl & Blow this time around.

 

But if I see her go up on that stage in a kitten heel next week I'm gonna lose it

An acting career. I honestly want her to pursue it for real. Not as a side project. Just straight up acting.

She recorded a whole unreleased song during the DC days about how she couldnt take it anymore and Ms Tina talked about how depressed she was.  NO ONE is immune to the amount of scrutiny she receives.

But I don’t think she’s hiding she’s 41 and a mother of course her career will take a backseat to that and she’s been giving herself to the world since she was 15.. your priorities change when those things come into play.. then shes about to embark on her longest tour in forever

The visuals arent released because she is on HER timetable.

 

I mean it's apparent she's been working, pretty hard, but there is just weird radio silence.  I mean we know she's filmed visuals (that were hyped, and then nothing), we know she's been rehearsing, and planning the tour. 

 

BUT I can't imagine this is how everything was supposed to play out.  They were just going to stop after BMS?  What if Cuff It hadn't gone viral?  Like what was the plan?

you got all dat from one single element of the stage?  also she can't dance in the center? 

 

RWT stage has a whole circular runway, a B stage in the middle of Club Renaissance section, please be serious.

 

Dubai stage was constructed to fit the space & she didn't bring her own dancers. Her same stage setup was what Swedish House Mafia used after her. Not a whole lot of wiggle room there. 

Also, didn’t Angie say something about strategy before BMS came out? What was the strategy for the album rollout?

 

Something definitely did go wrong at the last minute and it threw off the entire era

She has probably been busy planning the tour since album drop. with a tour of this scale, 9 months isn’t a lot. And it seems to be a really ambitious project. 
 

I think in her head she just wanted to

1. Release the music and

2. Go on tour, cause that’s where the big money is and she gets to interact with her fans

 

I think the rest was always kinda TBA and she isn’t stressing it (clearly )
