I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Beyonce is tired of the public.  Tired of putting on for communities who turn around and act like crabs in a barrel toward her.  Tired of being the only celeb lambasted for her wealth while Twitter celebrated Kanye and Rihannas wealth. Tired of being harassed for wearing jewels and performing places when others have worn them and others have performed there without a peep.  Tired of unprofessional ass blogs and media and podcasts and now tv shows using the big bad Beyhive to push content and views.  Tired of the scrutiny about her every word and move.

Sis cant even go to a basketball game without a bunch of crazy hoopla.  Even when she is minding her business shes the subject on podcasts, SM and the like.

She said “**** it!  Im just gonna do my job”.  Beyhive should support it.  Listen to the music and go to the shows.  She likes making the music and performing and thats all she has to like/do.  If she flops, thats on her. Yall dont think she knows where her album is charting?

Please stop comparing her to Taylor Swift who cried like a child to Daddy about posting some mid endorsement for a senator.  When Beyonce brought out Black Panther costumes to the mfkin superbowl.

Dont compare her to Rihanna who gets praise for making money while the bitters shame Beyonce for tour ticket prices.

None of them face the scrutiny or have the balls to go all in for their communities like Bey.  None of them have ACTUAL church leaders accusing them of wild conspiracy theories.  None of them are the basis for entire TV shows.

This is good for her ultimately.  And speaking of media hate, ALL legends have endured it.  From Whitneys drugs to Michaels court cases.  You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain.

Grammar/spelling

We've all been fans for a long time. I've been in and out through the years on this site but if a lot of the OG fans are saying something is wrong, it is. And her team is playing games.

The fact the stage looks like the one from Dubai. We should be afraid. She about to be standing in one place the entire show :bibliahh:

WTF does this have to do with FANS?

Beyonce isn't a indie artist and never will be. FAN interaction is part of her job, and I'm not talking about late night shows or instagram posts. It doesn't need to be excessive but asking for music videos and proper single releases is hardly putting on for communities. Her fans enjoy those things, she sold herself as a visual and live act. Now your saying fans don't even get the visual? And then she'll put her mic out to the audience and tell them to SING and you can easily separate the diehards from the casual fans. However casual fans are what bring those catalog numbers up.

No one in this thread is asking her to be everywhere or overextend herself. At first ya'll were telling us it's because she doesn't want to be overexposed, then it was she doesn't need to do those things and shut up and enjoy the music, then it's mental health reasons, and now it's because of haters?

Just, no

I honestly think it’s just that Beyoncé enjoys being with her family wen she has free time. But her balance is awful it doesn’t take much to engage with the world

If you believe this **** then you’re delusional. She loves the fame. She loves the attention. She loves the haters. She’s been polarizing since the DC split. She feeds off this. Listen to her lyrics lol. Y’all think she cares what haters got to say, and that changes the way she do things? Lmaooooooooooooooooooo.

Nobody asks her to do some Jimmy Fallon type of clownery, perform at the Kid's Choice Awards or upload 10 personal pictures a week on Instagram.

But really? There's not one person that she respects with whom she could sit down with and have a proper interview once per era? Even the Grammy stage is not worthy of her to perform on? Not releasing the goddamn visuals THAT WERE ALREADY SHOT ANYWAYS? We don't deserve even a little 10 sec BTS clip before the tour?

“She enjoys spending time with her family.”

like she’s not spending 12 hour days prepping for her tour & other business ventures. Be fr.

It definitely does. There is a proscenium arch in both designs.

If your stage has a proscenium, that means you’re trying to put emphasis on the center. You can’t do much in the center.

I don’t think this will be a dance heavy tour.

I agree with this. She doesn't have to do anything but press a button to upload a video.

Beyoncé really gives zero fks what haters say  and it’s very clear

Fans dont NEED videos and when have fans not received them?  Visuals are coming.  Chill out until then.

And performing and being in public is obviously not what Bey wants so FANS should accept it.

Ive criticized Beyonce a lot for her reclusiveness but when you think about it, she deserves to choose how she wants to approach her career.  Esp now.

I been Hive since early B’Day days and there’s def something off. I try to stay positive and give the benefit of the doubt.

Over the years I understand why society pushed her into being this enigma celeb BUT the lack of communication this era is a bit concerning, since we know what she’s capable of + factoring in shes a mom, wife, prev injured, etc.

Seems like Bey doesnt wanna be THEE celebrity anymore.  She wants to release her music and perform.  And make a few bucks with side businesses.  And when those things fail because shes not Ms Best Friend SM; thats her wallet not ours.

If you think a woman that loves fame would be hiding as much as Bey is then you may be the delusional one.

She recorded a whole unreleased song during the DC days about how she couldnt take it anymore and Ms Tina talked about how depressed she was.  NO ONE is immune to the amount of scrutiny she receives.

No it doesn't. The stage isn't even done. The Dubai show wasn't even a Beyonce show, she gets to bring her vision to life now with this tour.

Those making excuses for her absence shouldn't. She gave us die hard fans nothing this era. There is things she could do that would've made us happy,  even stuff without leaving her house, but she couldn't be bothered. It's not good looking forward if this is what she is going to keep doing.
