Thank god things are at least getting a little excited in here. When we start tearing each other apart that's when we know something good is about to happen :duca:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Again, it's not related to mental health. She wouldn't have done Dubai and she wouldn't tour if that was the case. Many celebrities have dealt with anxiety and talked publicly about it, and they've been understood and supported. I don't know how in her case it would be any different.

You don't know how mental health affects people to say what she would've done or not. Thats not how that works. Who has talked about it & been unanimously supported and never been mocked about it?

Yall are the ones that are up her ass...thinking she owes you any **** that's in it. She doesn't live for you. Get your own life.

Some of us understand that already....yall still ain't got it 10 years later & she's given you every clue. Music + tour...thats it.

I hope you realize your constant refusal of participating in basic fan activities like wanting content (visuals, performances, etc.) from your fave isn't making you seem higher than thou but actually more parasocial; as if you view yourself as a close friend of Bey instead of a stan. :duck:

I'm a human being first before a stan

when someone has mapped out the trajectory of their career and has said it over & over...and acted on it over & over...and doubled down on it. whats the point of nagging & complaining....she said back then what the future was going to be. why didnt yall mentally prepare for it?

Well, she doesn't talk about her music either.

We need a sacrifice

Just cause she’s not performing a personal concert in your home, doesn’t mean she doesn’t love performing. She’s mother of 3 and a wife, and an aunt. She’s not going to be able to reach each and every one of her fans. If you want to see her, you’ll have to travel. That’s the way it’s always been for me. It’s a privilege and a blessing to see the greatest performer in history, not a right.

I don't expect interviews or anything like that. I'm just baffled by the lack of performances and the lack of any sort of visuals a week before the tour.

If I remember correctly you yourself said no performances would bother you. It's looking like we aren't going to get anything but fan videos this entire era.

I thought bees from the same hive never fought each other :chick2:

There are no excuses for the lack of performances no matter how you spin it. :coffee2:

It's a privilege to have the money to afford all that and is classist af to think everyone can do it.

What does this prove though? A quote from 2006 when the quote doesn’t even describe her actual reality until after 2017. Beyoncé stayed in the public eye on purpose until after the twins. It makes sense that her base is having meltdowns because Beyoncé was probably the MOST VISIBLE celebrity of the century outside of maybe Kim Kardashians. Meaning, she attended every award show, would sit down on every talk show, and preformed. Now, she doesn’t even release a single music video, and you’re acting like people are wrong not to like it. She created this very public entity that people fell in love with, and to do a complete 180 is very unfamiliar territory for her fanbase, so it would make sense that people are not feeling it. I get that she is older and her priorities have changed. If she wanted to stop doing interviews, that’s fine. If she wanted to retire that’s also fine. But dangling trailers & teasers in your fans’ faces & going stone silent is crazy, and it’s purposefully done. People are reacting exactly how she planned for them to react. She did the same thing in 2013, but this is even worse because even without music Beyonce made sure to stay in the headlines the whole year. She’s very aware of the affects that the drought is having on her fanbase. That’s why Yvette bragged about the rollout, and Bey said we’re gonna take our time with this era when the album leaked. Y’all are making so many excuses. She’s aware of what she’s doing, and it’s totally fine for the fans not to be all right with it.

Girl no shade but have you ever not been up Bey's ass :dies:

Yeah it does feel like after the twins is when she started going in complete hiding mode. Perhaps she's found a new meaning to life in being a mother and is devoted to that now and music & entertainment have become a side hobby for her.

Cannot wait for those little devils to become teenagers and want nothing to do with her so she has no choice but to come back to find fulfilment in music. Hag Beyonce coming to perform at the 2033 EMAs let's gooooooo :jonny5:

I don't want or need to know about her mental health because I trust that she can and will take care of herself. Nor do I care if she ever walks a red carpet anywhere in the world ever again (although Wearable ASS Gala 2022 would be ending on a low point lol!). It's just that she's absolutely terrible at being the secretive hermit. She is reaping all the rewards of the A-list popstar while trying to sustain the mystique of the ethereal unknown entity. :) Her fans see right through it and are tired, and the GP literally does not care at all. So no one is here for the message sent by the trick of this era. And it was a bait-and-switch targeted especially to her stans. Anyway, even secretive hermits release music and content more frequently. If only she released and did shows half as regularly as did Prince, whom she seemingly only half-listened to.
