yes it's bottom 2 for me on the album. along with I'M THAT GIRL. they're good opener/closer tracks when I'm in the mood for it but otherwise I tend to skip.

Oh yeah I only acknowledge the standard edition of B’Day. It’s vastly superior in its cohesiveness and I wish that version was the default version available on streaming. The deluxe edition is just too bloated with filler tracks and disjointed.

I also didn’t know Irreplaceable was the 1 song of 2007! I thought it was Umbrella (which was 2).

The whole deluxe edition was centered around the success of Beautiful Liar. There was a concerted effort to push Beyoncé in Latin markets and what better way of doing that than making a song with one of the biggest Latin artists ever Shakira. If you notice the deluxe edition has a lot of Spanish tracks and it was mainly because of that. Other songs like Flaws and All, World Wide Woman, If etc were leftover tracks that didn’t make the original cut. In retrospect it definitely aided in B’Day pushing more units worldwide and tapping new markets for Beyoncé that she hadn’t really focused on before. Just wish that the tracklist was more cohesive and some of the deluxe tracks are weak like If for example. That kinda summarizes the main purpose of the deluxe edition of B’Day.

PeriodT.  Lol nah, I shuffle the album most times, so it ends on whatever, but miss summer renaissance rarely gets a listen.  Only if I’m driving and can’t skip fast enough.

Omg same. To me it's almost filler. I like the outro and some elements of the production where it deviates from the OG ref but it's a just safe, unremarkable way to end the album.

 

The second half of the album is definitely the weaker side imo

Ugh I think KJ Moody (her stylist) actually has a contract with D&G so unless he goes then we’re gonna continue getting looks from them. And he’s her cousin so. 

 

But yeah I think her tour costumes overall will be heavy on the Balmain, Schiaparelli and D&G.

Every song that I liked a little less than the others eventually grew on me, like AUIYM & Move.  Imma give Summer Rennie 1 more month, and that’s it.

LoL.  The first few months I never shuffled it but I like it both ways now.  I appreciate the transitions whenever they randomly happen on shuffle, and also shuffle makes me appreciate how great a body of work Rennie is because not knowing what’s next feels like a punch in the face each time a new song starts and before I know it I done played the whole album thinking “damn she really did that”.

Yessss and the way people are eating her up like that is ridiculous imho. I honestly feel like if Taylor is the only artist where im this close to identifying as OTH. There's no other artist where acclaim+success and talent are that far apart from one another.
